Idea in one line

Check Out is the fun and very easy way to find/locate and explore what events you would like or may want

to attend based on location, time, your personal interest and your social network.

Page 3: Check - Out PPT

Detailed Explanation

• Too many services/websites available to find out events to attend and things you can do.

• But the most general and common way of showing data is lists:

–Not the best way to show info on mobile

–Not very informative

–Not very interactive

• It’s very difficult to find events when you are on move and using your mobile.

• It’s even more difficult when you are not in your country and don't know local services.

Page 4: Check - Out PPT

Eventbrite.com uses lists to display their data – a really old way which is not interactive.

Page 5: Check - Out PPT

TicketMaster.com – stuck with lists as well.

Page 6: Check - Out PPT

BookMyShow.com – poor site to book tickets from, again stuck with lists.

Page 7: Check - Out PPT

Websites have improved their design over time, but that is not enough.

Page 8: Check - Out PPT

The way of showing data in the form of lists is not good enough to display a lot of

useful information because there is a possibility that data would be cluttered.

Page 9: Check - Out PPT

There is more data than the user cares about like location and distance, type

of event, friends going etc.

Page 10: Check - Out PPT

The information is so scattered that users hate to visit multiple websites

trying to solve the same problem.

Page 11: Check - Out PPT

Users would like to see data represented visually as that would be easier to comprehend and remember.
