Chatsworth Products’ (CPI) expertise in data center power management, which began in 1998, has grown to include a full staff of electrical, mechanical and software engineers, and assembly personnel located in CPI’s 100,000 square-foot research and production facility located in Central Texas.


CPI’s intelligent eConnect® Power Distribution Units (PDUs) raised the bar for PDU features and functionality by providing a low-profile design that operates in temperatures as high as 149°F (65°C) and by introducing Secure Array™ Technology, which enables users to link up to 32 PDUs under one IP address. Additionally, eConnect’s integrated software and its compatibility with CPI’s Power IQ® Software provides data center managers a complete picture of the health of their data center assets, as well as actionable power consumption information at all levels of the data center.
