What The Scriptures Teach About The Old Testament Age #1And Doctrine Of Matthew, Mark, Luke And John (MMLJBC)...

1. MMLJBC describe the last thrty-three years (33) of the Old Testamentage -- not the “beginning” of the New Testament age. Therefore, the Scrip-tures teach that Malachi is not the last book of the Old Testament age andMatthew is not the first book of the New Testament age.

2. In MMLJBC, in the closing three years of the Old Testament Mosaical age ,the angels proclaimed that Jesus was sent as the Messiah to be the old cove-nant “Savior” of only the “lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matt. 1:21; 2:6. Jesusalso confirmed his Old Testament mission to only the “lost sheep of the house ofIsrael” (Matt. 15:24).

3. In MMLJBC, Jesus declares more than 100 times that he is teaching theOld Testament law of Moses; not once did he ever state that he was teach-ing New Testament doctrine. In MMLJBC, several hundred times the Scrip-tures describe Christ teaching the Old Testament law of Moses; not oncedo they ever describe him teaching New Testament doctrine.

Understanding Old Testament Age And Doctrine MMLJBC #2

3. In MMLJBC, Jesus addressed his old covenant message to the Old Tes-tament Jews of Isral, not the alien Gentiles of the day. Jesus never ad-dressed his teaching of the Old Testament law of Moses to alien ornon-covenant Gentiles. In MMLJBC, Jesus never addressed his message toNew Testament “Christians.” In fact, in MMLJBC he never used the word“Christian.”

4. In MMLJBC, Jesus was an Old Testament “Israelite” -- not a New Testament“Christian.”Jesus was a member of the Old Testament “kingdom” of Israel -- not amember of the New Testament “kingdom” or “church.”

5. In MMLJBC, Jesus was an Old Testament “prophet” -- not a New Testament“evangelist.” In MMLJBC, Jesus “restored” unfaithful Jews back to God under thelaw of Moses, he did not save alien sinners by the New Testament “gospel.”

6. In MMLJBC, Jesus preached only the Old Testament “gospel” of the law ofMoses (Matt. 19:16-20), he never preached the New Testament “gospel” of hisdeath, burial and resurrection (1 Cor. 15:1-4).

Understanding Old Testament Age And Doctrine MMLJBC #3

7. In MMLJBC, Jesus preached the Old Testament “plan of salvtion” in the law ofMoses for Jews only (Matt. 19:16-20), he did not preach the New Testament“plan of salvation” for alien sinners from “all nations” (Matt. 28:18-20).

8. In MMLJBC, every time Jesus used the word “disciple” or “brethren” he wasreferring to the Old Testament Jewish children of God in Israel, not to New Testa-ment “Christians.”

9. In MMLJBC, Jesus quotes the Old Testament law of Moses hundreds of timesin harmonizing his teaching with the Old Testament law of Moses. The teachingof Christ in MMLJBC is never quoted in his revelation of New Testament doctrinein Acts 2 through Revelation 22.

10. In MMLJBC, Jesus preached Old Testament “faith,” old covenant “religion,”“worship,” “righteousness, “ “hope,” “salvation,” but he never preached the NewTestament “gospel.”

NOT ONE QUOTE FROM MMLJBC...IN ACTS 2 - REVELATION 22!

* In revealing New Testament doctrine in Acts2 through Revelation 22, Christ did not quoteone thing from his teaching in MMLJBC as hisrevelation of New Testament doctrine

* In revealing New Testament doctrine, nei-ther the Holy Spirit nor the apostles quotedfrom Christ’s teaching in MMLJBC! Chart 388.7

NOT ONE QUOTE!!!

WHAT IS THE ISSUE?* Not the inspiration of the Scriptures!* Not the number of books in the Bible!* Not the fundamental doctrine - the church.

1. It is the 1486 AD Roman Catholic divisionof the books of the Bible into the Old and NewTestaments. It is their moving of MMLJ/BC fromthe Old to the New Testament and the doctrinalcorruption this has created.

Chart 388.8

2. It is the “teaching of the Scriptures” ver-sus the “human religious traditions” of today!

The Scriptures Teach...

1. Bible “rightly divided” into sepa-rate covenants and covenant ages.

2. Each covenant must be interpret-ed by what it teaches, not by whatanother covenant teaches.

3. Old Covenant teaching of the lawof Moses is never N. T. Doctrine. Chart 388.9

The Scriptures Teach...4. If a doctrine is not revealed and

printed in the New Testament - it isnot New Testament doctrine!

5. The Scriptures do not producehuman “traditions” or “doctrines.”

6. Human “traditions” -“doctrines”both deny and contradict the Scrip-tures. They produce Sectarianism!

Chart 388.10

Christ’s Teaching - MMLJBC...1. By Christ’s direct instruction, his teach-

ing in MMLJBC was to be preached only to -Old Testament “house of Israel.”

“These twelve Jesus sent forth, and com-manded them saying, Go not into the way ofthe Gentiles, and enter into the cities of theSamaritans enter ye not: But go rather to thelost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matt. 10:5-6).

Like all of the above, the fourteen books ofthe Roman Catholic “apocgrypha” were re-

jected because their teaching did not harmo-nize with the teaching of the New Testament!

Why Were MMLJBC Written?

1. Not to describe the “beginning” of N.T.

2. To describe the “end” of the O.T. Mosaicalage and God’s old covenant with Israel.

3. To bring a “written” end of the law of Mo-ses to help teach and convince the Jews of the1st and subsequent centuries of the Messiah’swork and that they could no longer approachGod through the old law covenant and/or tem-ple sacrifices. Chart 388.13

WHEN WERE MMLJBC “WRITTEN”?* This means that this Old Testament info

was not mentioned or preached during Christ’s,Holy Spirit’s or apostles’ preaching in Acts!

* This means that MMLJ/BC was not a partof Christ’s New Testament “gospel” or “theapostles’ doctrine” preached in Acts! Chart 388.14

What About...The Sermon On The Mount?

Old Testament Law Of Moses?

New Testament Law of Christ?

Christ - The Last Old Testament “Prophet”...“18I will raise them up a Prophet from among their

brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in hismouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shallcommand him” (Deut. 18:18).

Chart 389

“And I will put my words in his mouth...”Deut. 18:18

Jesus said, "Nevertheless I must walk to day, and tomorrow, and the day fol-lowing: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem" (Lk. 13:33).

Peter said, "For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lordyour God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in allthings whatsoever he shall say unto you...Unto you first God, having raised uphis Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from hisiniquities" (Acts 3:22, 26).

Fourteen times in the book of John, John the baptizer of Israel and Jesusthe Messiah and last prophet sent to Israel declared openly and publicly to theJews of Old Testament Israel that Christ's teaching in Matthew, Mark, Luke andJohn -- before the cross (MMLJBC) -- was not his "own words" or a revelation ofhis New Testament doctrine. They declared that it was the Messiah's teaching ofthe Old Testament "will of God" for only Israel. The same old covenant "will ofGod" as earlier revealed by Moses and the prophets in the law of Moses fromExodus 20 through Malachi 4. 389.1

“And I will put my words in his mouth” #2John 6:38: "38For I came down from heaven, not to do mineown will, but the will of him that sent me."

John 7:16-17: "16Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine isnot mine, but his that sent me.

John 8:28: "28Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted upthe Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do noth-ing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak thesethings."

John 12:49-50: "49For I have not spoken of myself; but the Fatherwhich sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say,and what I should speak. 50And I know that hiscommandment islife everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Fathersaid unto me, so I speak."Chart 389.3

Most Misunderstood “Page” In The Bible...

1. No divine division authorized between books ofMalachi and Matthew from 33 AD to 1486 AD.

2. Maltreatment of Scriptures during the “dark ag-es” by the apostate church.

3. Roman Catholic “heresy” of 1486 AD when theirtranslators, publishers and printers -- because ofProtestant pressure, placed first New Testament “titlepage” between Malachi and Matthew in divide be-tween the Old and New Testaments.
