("Charter") files this notification pursuant to Section 15.407(j) of the Commission's rules to confirm that Charter has deployed an aggregate total of more than 1,000 outdoor access points within the 5.15-5.25 GHz band ("U-NIL-I band"), and to update the Commission's records regarding Charter's point of contact in the event of any interference issues.1 As required by Section 15.407(j), Charter acknowledges that, should harmful interference to licensed services in this band occur, it will be required to take corrective action. The Office of Engineering and Technology ("OET") previously granted waivers to Charter's predecessor in interest, Time Warner Cable Inc. ("TWC"), to permit operations in the in the U-Nil-I band of up to 19,913 previously deployed U-NII-3 outdoor access points, and up to 10,000 additional, newly deployed U-NII-3 outside access points.2 In granting those waivers pursuant to the streamlined process for authorizing U-NII-3 devices to be operated in the U-Nil- 1 band, OET plainly recognized that TWC had already deployed more than 1,000 outdoor access points.
