Some ideas about following on from Chapter 1

Let's look at our character Jenny. Who could she be? Where could she live? What are her likes and dislikes?What does she look like? - In Chapter 2 you could describe her- her physical look, what she wears,

her hair colour, eyes etc. Maybe how she walks and talks.

Here is an example:

Jenny was a pretty girl but small for her age. When she was three years old she spent three

months in hospital with …...............Her mother said that she had the bluest eyes..............

It is important to fill in the background information about your main character because it helps the reader understand him/her better.

Maybe you can bring in another character (or characters) in this chapter.
