Parts of the Male Reproductive System
• During Puberty the testes begin to produce sperm
• Usually between 12-15 year old

• Sperm travel through URETHRA
• Along the way sperm mixes with fluid called SEMEN
• Semen is released from the URETHRA through the PENIS
• This is called EJACULATON

Problems of the Male Reproductive System
• Hernia – An inguinal hernia occurs when part of the intestine pushes into the groin. This occurs because of weakness in the muscle wall
• Sterility – Being unable to produce enough healthy sperm to reproduce

Problems of the Male Reproductive System
• Testicular Cancer – Cancer of the testes is rare, but it is the most common in males between the ages of 15 and 34.
• Symptoms- Lump or swelling in scrotum, pain or tenderness in one of the testicles, or heavy feeling inn a testicle
• Surgery is necessary to stop spread of cancer
