1.1. GenderThe table above should that 66.67% or 20 of the total

respondents were female and the remaining 33.33% or 10 were males.

Finding showed that regardless of gender, being in the

nursing education or being the ones that guide the students, they can

evaluate the effectiveness of a certain activity to achieve specific

    nursing competencies.

first to three years in the profession, and ten of them were in the

field of nursing for 5 years, whereas, 5 of the respondents were

almost at their pick in the nursing service for more 5 to 10 years.

This result validated the first table that since majority of

the respondents were young, they only have short years of experience

in the nursing profession, however, still continuing to grow and

developed as better nurses to produces competent nurse graduates by

means doing best in the activities they choose to use to impart

    knowledge.

1.3. Highest Educational AttainmentTwenty four or 80% of the clinical instructors do not

have yet their masteral degree in the graduate school. Only 6 or 20%

obtained a master degree in nursing.

This finding indicates the need due to hectic schedule in

supervising students in the clinical area, and some personal matters,

they were not able to finish their Masters Degree, however some were

on their way of getting the title.

Item number 1 Active Learning is anything that students do

in a classroom other than merely passively listening to an

instructor's lecture. with a weighted mean of 4.83 and verbal

    interpretation of strongly agree.

This finding showed that clinical instructors are aware

that for a classroom to be said as learner-centered, there must

be students active involvement on the different activities the

reason why they make sure to have this as their options in

    selecting educational activities.

Item number 2 Games and simulations enable students to

solve real-world problems in a safe environment and enjoy

themselves while doing so. with a weighted mean of 4.63 and

    verbal interpretation of strongly agree.

This finding indicates the belief of the respondents

that games as one of the activities for learning to take place.

First and foremost, students enjoyed the lesson. There will be

active participation, and transmission of knowledge is much easy

to remember and to use in daily life activities.

Item number 3 Lectures are the way most instructors today

learned in classes with a weighted mean of 3.53 and verbal

    interpretation of strongly agree.

Finding showed that being students who were educated mostly

by lectures from their past teachers, lecture never fails to be

used in class for purpose of transferring knowledge.

Item number 4 Problem-based Learning (PBL) is an

instructional method that challenges students to "learn to

learn," working in groups to seek solutions to real world

problems. with a weighted mean of 3.53 and verbal

    interpretation of strongly agree.

Item number 5 Case studies present students with real-life

classroom to real life situations. with a weighted mean of 5.5

    and verbal interpretation of agree.

The result in item number 4 & 5 showed that respondents do

believe that for learning to really take place it should tested

by solving actual problems encountered and might encounter in

    the classroom and clinical areas.

Item number 6 Demonstration -this method of teaching is

based on the simple, yet sound principle that students learn by

doing. with a weighted mean of 5.5 and verbal interpretation of

    agree.

Finding showed that being in the profession that requires a

lot of skill to know, lessons that need to use demonstration

should be done for better acquisition of knowledge. There are

also students that best learn when they perform, and respondents

    were aware of that.

Item number 7 Question and answer is an educational

activity where learning is achieved through the skillful use of

questions. with a weighted mean of 4.5 and verbal

    interpretation of agree.

Finding showed that unconsciously, some many nursing

schools use this to introduce new lesson, to draw out prior

knowledge to students and link them to the topic that will be

discussed. Clinical instructors use this to measure the extent

    of students learning.

Item number 8 The experimental method is usually taken to

be the most scientific of all methods, the 'method of choice'.

with a weighted mean of 4.3 and verbal interpretation of agree.

This finding revealed that since not most of the time being

used, but still some nursing subjects like chemistry, physics,

and computer need experimentation in order to know the

scientific explanation for a particular phenomenon.

Item number 9 Interdisciplinary teaching involves

combining two different topics into one class. with a weighted

mean of 4.2 and verbal interpretation of agree.

This finding revealed the importance of having at least

more 1 activities to facilitate learning. For class to be active

it should compromise variety of educational activities so as to

address too the different learning styles of the students.

Item number 10 Service learning is a type of teaching that

combines academic content with civic responsibility in some

community project. with a weighted mean of 4.0 and verbal

    interpretation of agree.

This finding should that in relation to the learned

knowledge, students need to apply it by making those learned
