How to Create a Culture of Achievement
• Table Groups: Identify the following roles for members:• Facilitator: Keep group members on task and topic.
Makes sure everyone has a chance to participate and offer ideas.
• Timekeeper: Reminds the group of time remaining for activity at regular intervals.
• Recorder: Writes quickly to keep up with ideas.• Reporter: Synthesizes, with the help of group
members, key points for oral or written reports• Keeper of the Vision: Reminds group members the
overall purpose of the group. Focuses on the big picture.
• Keeper of the Tools (if a 6 member group): Makes sure that the group uses formal “tools” for making the group’s work (decision making, problem-solving, planning, etc.) more effective and efficient.
