Why the sun always rise from the east?

Do you ever know that the sun also can rise from the west?

Why are there four seasons in a year?

Will you find out the local customs and practices when you are going to an unfamiliar place?

Do you ever know how to take your bearings in the field?

Think about the generations and say that we wanna make it a better place for our children and our children's children ， so that they know it's a better world for them ． We think,think make a better place.

How to Study

Plan a regular time to study.

Choose a desk or table in a quiet place where you will not be distracted.

Gather all the books, pencils, paper,and other equipment you will need to complete your assignments.

Decide on a goal. For example: “I will finish reading and taking notes on chapter 1, by 8.00pm.”

Take a five - ten minute break every hour to keep alert.

If you start to feel sleepy, take a break and get some fresh air.

• Read the Opening paragraphs.• Read the titles of the chapters in the

unit.• Read the chapter summaries and

Unit Summary to help you identify key ideas.

Read each chapter title. Read the opening paragraphs. Study the Goals for Learning. The Chapter

Review and tests will ask questions related to these goals.

• Always write the main details and the supporting details.

• KEEPYOUR NOTES BRIEF.

• Write down important information only.

• USE YOUR OWN WORDS.

• Complete sentences not necessary.

• No need to write everything the teacher says.

• Review your notes soon after class to fill in any gaps.

PREPARING FOR TESTS

• Complete the Lesson Review and Chapter Reviews.

• Review your answers to your own lesson reviews and Chapter Reviews.

• Re-read the Chapter summaries.
