Summary (2) BUBBLE BATH won a Class D handicap at Cagnes in January and will be suited here with this surface. She rarely runs a poor race and can make it career win number seven here today. (6) FONS SALERA and (5) RASHIBA both have some good form in Germany and are not without chances here today. (10) CAZALYS can make the frame.

5. MADE TO LEAD - Won a newcomers race on her debut at Deauville in December. Respected here

6. AUENPERLE - Has won two from four and second in a Group Three race in Germany. Interesting

7. HEPTATHLETE - Won a claimer here earlier this month but this is a tougher test today

Summary Although a little disappointing at Maisons-Laffitte last time out (2) BONITA FRANSISCA finished third behind Polydream in a Group Three race at Deauville last August and is the selection to record her first success in France today. (5) MADE TO LEAD impressed when winning on her debut at Deauville in December and must be respected. (3) MASSINA and (6) AUENPERLE are next best.

Race 3 1. BONFIRE HEART - Half a dozen wins from sixteen and did it very nicely last time out so has every hope again in what is a tough race

3. DAGOBERT DUKE - A nine time winner from fifty seven and is coming into this in very positive form so holds every chance

4. LANDJUNGE - Four time winner from eighteen and basically has to find very best form to get competitive here. An outsider

5. UN BEAU MEC - A six time winner from twenty nine but form of last effort has to be a worry coming into this. Not put forward

6. LE PIN - Last two wins came back in 2016 but there was a glimmer of hope last time out so there might be worse outsiders

7. GALIZZI - Has won five times from twenty six and this former hurdler has been in good form before this much sterner test

8. ROSNY - Half a dozen wins from fifty five and did run a good second at Cagnes-sur-Mer so is in good fettle but this so tougher

9. PALMERINO - A triple winner from fourteen in a light enough career and has also mixed hurdles in to the bargain. Could be a player

10. RING MY BELL - A three time winner from seventeen and it is easy to forgive a below par effort last time out so with that in mind can go well

11. FASTNET SQUALL - A four time winner from fifteen and has a decent formline coming into today but will still need a lifetime best

12. GRESHNITSIA - Has just had the four outings to date and basically is so lightly raced that it is difficult to be too positive

13. BAMAXSAR - A seven time winner from fifty five and could go well enough at a big price if putting best foot forward

14. GILI EMERY - A half a dozen wins from thirty two but seems to have two different ways of running and which one will turn up today

15. MORTREE - A triple winner from thirty four and could be arriving back to a workable mark once more so should be kept on the list

16. NOTANOTHERHOLIDAY - One win from eight runs and is still unexposed so there must be a serious chance that there is more to come. Interesting

Summary

The Quinte plus race and as usual a totally competitive affair where a whole slew of them can be fancied. Perhaps a few euros on (9) PALMERINO might set punters up for the day. His overall form in both codes stand up to the closest scrutiny. (6) LE PIN has not won for a long time but there was hope last time. (3) DAGOBERT DUKE can always be trusted. (7) GALIZZI and (16) NOTANOTHERHOLIDAY are others to consider.

Race 4 1. AFRICAN SKY - A classy one time winner from four and sure to take all the beating for the mighty Fabre

2. NICE PIORNO - Broke the ice on last of four runs which was at Bordeaux-Le-Bouscat last month

3. LE GITAN - Had a good time last season winning three times but this looks too hot

4. ZANTARIO - Won two races in a row at Avenches last year from four runs but this is more difficult

5. CONTORTIONISTE - Won first two outings last year and did adequately when upped in class after those

6. BELOBOG - Still a a maiden after eleven runs and basically has it all to do to get even close

7. ZANZIDON - A newcomer by Zanibari who will be best watched today with a view to the future

Summary Andre Fabre supplies the first of two Shamardal colts who are reappearing this season the other one is later on and also expected to score and the first of those is (1) AFRICAN SKY who must go very close having shown bundles of ability last season. (5) CONTORTIONISTE also displayed good form last year. (2) NICE PIORNO and (4) ZANTARIO can follow home.

4. RED MISTRAL - Has won twice from two dozen starts and has already gone in this year. Has a chance

5. SISTER VIC - One win from twelve but seems to be regressing with each run nowadays

6. COCOONER - Is still a maiden after sixteen and has run some decent races in those

7. SOVERIA - Very little to shout about in fourteen winless starts so best avoided again

8. ETOILE BERE - One win from twenty three runs and basically has an each way shout at best

9. MAGESQ DRALLIV - A dual winner from twenty one and maybe best to forgive a below par effort last time out

10. POLE CELESTE - Sole success from eighteen came at Pornichet and ran well back there last time when second

11. BLUE MONTY - Still a a maiden after ten but was a better third at Cagnes last time out

12. PRINCESS OF SNOW - Remains a maiden after twenty five runs but would still have an each way shout in this

13. PETITE TEMPETE - Placed a couple of times in ten starts but that form is not near good enough

Summary (1) EN PLEIN COEURmight still be a maiden after ten outings but that does not really tell the true story as the gelding has gone close on several occasion including on reappearance at Pornichet last time. He can get this done today for sure. (4) RED MISTRAL and (10) POLE CELESTE look best of the others with (12) PRINCESS OF SNOW maybe having a squeak too.

5. FOX TIN - Won a maiden at Bordeaux-Le-Bouscat last year and has run some creditable races since

6. AMAANI - Runner up on her debut back here in 2016 but just the four runs since then

7. CAVALSEULLES - Off the mark on penultimate start last year and ran well on follow up bid in second

8. FOULOGNES - Progressive type last season winning once and good return already this term

9. TIKITIKI - Just the one win from nine but has run some very decent races overall

10. WOLWEDANS - Won on debut last year and just had the two subsequent starts. Obviously goes well fresh

Summary This puzzle is definitely best left to the master trainer Andre Fabre who is represented by the Shamardal colt (1) MERIKHA. The offspring of the sire have a notable record when appearing fresh and this must be the day to strike. (8) FOULOGNES has ability and should go well. (3) MAHARO and (7) CAVALSEULLES for the frame.

6. MOGADISHIO - Scored for the eleventh time in a Cagnes claimer in February and still going strong

7. TAXI DRIVER - Has collected twice from thirty four and has been performing adequately here

8. BIRTHDAY PRINCE - A nine time winner from fifty six and could possibly get into the shake up

9. FINN CLASS - Former nine time winner from fifty one and raced in the UK. The stronger the pace the better

10. PRINCESS EMMA - She has won three of her forty five starts and is dropping to a fair mark again

11. PHU HAI - Had a good strike rate of nine from thirty three but not in that form anymore

12. THAILAND - Still a maiden after a dozen runs but might have some small glimmer of hope

Summary This claimer has a few interesting types partaking in it and maybe the one for the dough is (1) REBEL LIGHTNING. The five year old gelded son of Zebedee bombed out at Deauville last time out but there were excuses so he might be worth chancing here. (6) MOGADISHIO and (8) BIRTHDAY PRINCE can have some say along with (4) RED FINE.

9. SYNDROMOS - A dual winner from twenty eight and has been mixing all disciplines. Not expected here

10. DYREMIS - Has won twice from two dozen runs and finished runner up in all three runs this term

11. MAISON D'OR - Is still a maiden after fourteen and very easy to look elsewhere now at this stage

Summary This final race has a distinctly tough looking feel about it so maybe only a small play on (10) DYREMIS is the advice. The mare has been runner up in all her three runs this season and because the French handicapping system is so fair

she can still run off the same mark as for all those. (6) PARZIVAL is a genuine type. (1) CHILPERIC and (12) BONSAI can be backed each way.

Summary Yannick-Alain Briand holds newcomer (6) FIREJACK DE VIETTE in high regard and his charge could get off the mark at the first time of asking. (5) FUKUYAMA made a good impression during qualifying and should also give a good account of himself on debut. Improving duo of (7) FREE GIRL MARCEAUX and (8) FALCAO D'ETRELLES could prove best of the rest.

Summary (2) CABERLOT bounced right back to form with a good 3rd at Cagnes-sur-Mer last time. Proven going right-handed he sets the standard amongst these amateurs. Summary (7) ELIAS CLASSIQUE caught the eye when finishing an improved 3rd at Cagnes-sur-Mer last time. He could prove too good for this lot if building on that progress. (6) ELCEAR is also likely to challenge for top honours though with an encouraging comeback run under his belt.
