HPC IntegrationOne of the key integration challenges associated with HPC deployments is that it’s rack densities do not align well with existing services and are very often 5x or even 10x times greater in rack density compared to existing I.T racks. As a result it is vitally important that cooling systems are carefully designed to ensure HPC deployments do not have a detrimental effect on existing services.

As well as HPC rack densities data centre managers may face an array of additional challenges including airflow control, divergence of chilled water flow and return temperature, power capacity and space allocation.

As a data centre specialist Workspace Technology offers expert cooling and power design and installation advice. With an extensive knowledge of data centre infrastructure our team can ensure any HPC deployment integrates seamlessly with existing services.

These will then be highlighted within Method Statements and Environmental Risk Assessments as a part of our project delivery plan.

As part of our site survey any risks associated with these elements will be captured within our project plan and communicated to our personnel delivering the project, our sub contractors and our clients.
