Changing the Default Font in Microsoft Word

You have a new computer and now you need to change the font default to your organisation’s house style.

Choose your preferred the Font Style.

Then, click on the Dialogue Box Launcher at the bottom right hand of the Font group on the Home ribbon.

Make sure the Font, Font Style and Size of your preferred font is selected. Next click on Select As Default.

Make sure All documents based on the Normal template? is selected, then click OK.

Any new document will open in your new default font.
