Autumn essentials Page changes/adjustments

Before

After

Changes

I have changed the font of the masthead to market deco rather than sandwich light. I think this font links in well with the rest of my work and is the font for Charm, I want to keep this consistency throughout all of my work. I have also changed the colour to the same as my front cover masthead, I love this colour and I think again it links well with the Autumn theme.

I have also changed the colour of the subheadings for each of the clothing sections to a navy, I think the navy looks good with the masthead and is a colour that I want to be added into the Autumn essentials page, I think It looked good previously but just needed some brightening.

I have changed the hash tag to Thecharlielook which links in with my new model and the name I am going for. It links in well with my front cover and ancillary tasks. I have also changed this to the bright purple which I have also used throughout my work, for instance on my contents page I have made the website address this colour purple too, this shows some consistency throughout my work.

I have also decided to change the clothing numbers to the bright purple colour, I think it fits in very well with the navy and the peachy colour on the masthead. Again it links in well with the other pages of my magazine along with my ancillary tasks.

I have made the general text for the clothing descriptions a little bit bigger so that it is easier to read and stands out a lit more on the page. I have also changed the colour to the same peachy colour of the masthead, I think this doesnt immediately stand out on the page and certainly doesnt take over from the masthead. This is also following a convention from general fashion magazines, they tend to use the same colour on the page a few times.

I have made the page description just under the masthead a little bit bigger also, I felt that on my previous version that this text was way too small and needed to stand out more to make it easier for the reader to read and for the text to actually get read in the first place rather than getting overlooked by everything else going on in the page.
