BOL : Contains physical quantity, location, lot #. It does not contain price information.
How: {discussion} Step 2 get the price.
Sales order / Purchase order have price BEFORE the physical transaction.
How: {discussion} Why not use Invoices?
Invoice has price information AFTER the physical transaction. Current practice is not as timely if there is a missing BOL
Step 1. {discussion} get the prices in GMW
Capture pricing information and by adopting a PO and SO process.
Step 2. {discussion} Get the quantity in GMW
Refine the BOL process to be timely and accurate at point of delivery.
Step 3: Have a report made.
With the needed information in. Now a report can be created and formatted to reduce time spent on preparing a fuel tax report.
