~Congratulations to Joanne Langeraap from Sioux Center Health on earning the Certi-fied Registered Central Ser-vice Technician Certification. Joanne had to accumulate 400+ hours of hands-on expe-rience, complete an educa-tional program and success-fully pass the certification exam. ~The Sioux Center Health Foundation is happy to an-nounce that the Foundation will again be giving Scholar-ships to candidates that are pursuing a health care career in 2015. This year the Founda-tion will be awarding (6) $500 scholarships to seniors from area high schools. The Foun-dation will also be awarding up to (10) $1000 scholarships to Employees and (2) $500 scholarships to Employee Family Members. Applicants can apply in only one field this year, but are able to ap-
ply for multiple years. Appli-cations are due by March 14, with scholarship winners announced in Mid-April. ~Be sure to attend the Taste-fully Simple Spring Open House on March 12, featuring the NEW catalog. It’s time for Roses… Just Because! Give a gift to someone special in your life for no reason…just because! Sioux Center Health Foundation is providing two options to order a dozen roses: $20 with no vase or $30 arranged in a vase with greenery. The roses will come in a variety of colors. All proceeds assist in covering the cost of equipment, medications and supplies that provide comfort to those needing Hospice services.
Roses will be available for pick up on Tuesday, April 21 from noon – 3 pm in the hospital’s con-ference room 3. We also provide free delivery only to businesses!
