Parade Marshal for this year’s parade. The parade theme is “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

Santa will visit with children on the porch of the library immediately following the parade. Parade entry forms are available online at www.headlandal.org. Entry fee is $10 and prizes will be awarded to the top entries.

Holiday season officially opens Holiday season officially opens Holiday season officially opens Christmas music filled the air in downtown Headland Tuesday night as the annual Holiday Open House and Tree-Lighting brought carolers and shoppers together for some Christmas cheer. Headland Elementary School’s Kindergarten, the High School Jazz Band and Ensembles, and Latta Music students performed Christmas music as businesses welcomed holiday shoppers with sales, door prizes and refreshments.
