HISTORY OF THE PLASTIC RECYCLING
• 50 years ago only recycling of post industrial waste existed.• In 1990 the EU started with new legislations for collecting and
recycling of plastic waste.• The technologies have changed a lot and new recycling
system have been developed on the market.• Today recycling is not only transferring waste in pellets, now
we are raw material producer for plastic converters

• Through new legislations the quantity of plastic waste which have to be recycled would increase, but also the quality would be from bad to worse
• We have to find new additives to compound materials to upcycle the materials.
• As a conclusion the recycling of plastic waste have a lot of potentials to be the producer for raw materials for the plastics industries.
