Snow Day Challenge
As part of your snow pack you have 2 challenges that you mustcomplete!
Challenge 1
• Create packaging for a new Fair Trade food item for Christmas.It must be healthy and the packaging must be bright, colourfuland eye-catching. It can be a meat, dairy, vegetable or breaditem.
Challenge 2
• Everyone needs to be careful when the snow comes. It is yourjob to create a poster / leaflet explaining how to take care ofyourself in the snowy weather. Remember you need to thinkabout:
• travelling in snow either by foot or in a vehicle• making sure you have enough heat to keep warm
and food to eat in the house• And finally the effects snowy weather can have on
older people.
Literacy Task — Apostrophes
There are two types of apostrophe, one shows there is a letter(or letters) missing, one shows possession (that an objectbelongs to somebody or something)e.g. That is becomes that’s when the letter I is missed outThe giifs pens. The apostrophe shows the pens belong tothe girl.
Task One. Here is a list of words. List one has words with apostrophes, listtwo has the words without the letters missed out. Task ThreePossession. If the object belongs to one person then the apostrophe goes
