Chakravyuh Business Plan Competition

Chakravyuh Business Plan Competition is the flagship event of Amrita School of

Business, Kochi. Chakravyuh is aimed to provide a strong platform for the budding

entrepreneur by offering mentoring and support from various renowned organisations

Chakravyuh is a multi-tier defensive formation which is described in Mahabharata. It

is tough to enter inside Chakravyuh and also tough to escape outside.

In our business plan competition, it will be tough to enter final. It is tough to survive

in todays competitive world for a new venture. But those who make it to the final of ourbusiness plan competition will get mentoring support and guidance in addition to cash prize

so that they could start the venture successfully and win the battle.

Rules

1. Team: Individual or team of maximum 3 members. There is no restriction on the number of teams that can participate from an

institute

Teams can consist of members from different institutes as well A team can submit multiple business plans and a member can be part of another

team. Registration should be done separately in such case

All students including PhD students are also eligible Students who passed out in year 2012 are also eligible. Participants can include students who passed out in year 2011-12 who started

business last year and not received funding.

2. General:1. Decision of the organizers of the contest will be final and binding on all the

participants.

2. Online presentation for teams outside Kerala.

The event will be held in two phases:

Round 1: Participants are required to email the detailed business plan by 14th March.

The result would be announced by 16th

March.

Round 2: Top 6 teams shortlisted from Round 1 will be invited to make a presentation

on 18th March at Amrita School of Business, Kochi to an elite panel of judges.

Prizes:

1. Cash Prize: Rs 20,000The prize money will be distributed in two phases:

Rs 15,000 will be given on the spot to the winning team andremaining Rs 5000 will be given when the venture starts.

If the venture already began prior to the event then Rs 20,000 willbe awarded to the winner.

2. Top 6 teams will Mentoring

3. Top 6 teams will get opportunity for getting Angel Investment

4. Top 6 teams will get opportunity for Incubation

5. Top 100 teams will get E-learning course on Entrepreneurship.
