Workshop on Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology is one of ITMA's annual activities which was initiated in 2003. Each series of the event has raised various themes related to the �eld of advanced materials and nano-technology. This workshop is one of the e�orts to promote and strengthen ITMA as a research center of excellence focusing on advanced materials and nano-technology.

By organizing this workshop, ITMA hopes to provide a platform for local and overseas experts to share their knowledge and expertise in their respective �elds of research. We hope the knowledge shared will be able to spark new ideal and expand existing research for the participants.

Participants are invited to submit extended abstracts on the following topics :

All abstracts should be written in English and shall be written in font Cambria MS, single line spacing and 10 font size. The abstracts can contain �gures, tables and/or images. Page format should be A4 page size with margins 2.5 cm wide from the right, left, top and bottom and should not exceed 2 pages including the references and pages should not be numbered. The abstracts format must follow the template provided in terms of fonts, font sizes, margins, etc.

The abstracts must be submitted in electronic form as a MS-Word �le via email wamn2016@upm.edu.my to the conference secretariat. Accepted extended abstracts will be published in the abstract book and authors should prepare for poster presentations.
