My Habits See

Movies I watch…bio pics or inspiring stories to see how other creatives have developed theircraft and their interesting journeys.

HearMusic I listen to…anthem music lifts me up, makes me happy, and ideas flow freelyThe latest favorite songs…“What a Feeling” by Irene Cara“Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen“Gonna Fly Now” from the Rocky soundtrack

Smells Candles (Anthropologie volcano, citrus candles, Christmas smells) make me happy, so I do better work inthese conditionsEssential oils bath soap (I like lemon scented, it wakes me up and makes me aware)

DoExercise releases stress and allows my brain to think of new ideas (science has proven this!). Go on a long walk and leave the radio off so that your brain wander for a while. That’s when the best, creativeideas will most likely strike. When you need a good idea, get on the phone and talk it through with a friend. That’s a form of brainstormingand the ideas will come together.

Surroundings Surround yourself with color. It will invigorate andinspire you as well as make you happy. My home as wellas my shop is full of color and the things I love. Iintentionally create these spaces and am presentlyworking on my bedroom to do the same.
