What happens? What happens when we don’t take responsibility?

◦ We can develop a victim mentality What is a no-fail environment? Causes us to focus on issues we don’t control,

Instead of those that we do?

◦ We can have an unhealthy perspective

of how life works! Life isn’t fair Comparison thinking

◦ We can engage in Blamestorming! Find an appropriate scapegoat, instead

of accepting responsibility.

◦ We give away Choice Control.◦ We eliminate any possibility for growth for success.

Choice Options(sampling)

I choose to die. I choose to hate. I choose to deny. I choose to ignore. I choose to be right. I choose to be angry. I choose to fail. I choose to drift. I choose my

choices.

I choose to Live. I choose to love. I choose to believe. I choose to hear. I choose to relate. I choose to accept. I choose to

succeed. I choose to commit. I choose my life.

What happens when we learn to be responsible? We take our first step in

learning.◦ The earlier the better.

◦ Learning keeps you young

◦ Learning helps balance

We see things in their proper perspective.◦ Taking responsibility does

NOT mean negativity

◦ Helps us understand that most losses are not permanent.

◦ Resilience aids in overall health

We stop repeating our failures◦ Everyone fails, but how do

we respond & bounce back?

◦ To win you can’t continue to attempt the same thing over and over.

◦ Failure isn’t the best teacher, neither is experience; only evaluated experience teaches.
