CGC to be Technology Partner for youth fest
Consolidated Gulf Co. (CGC) has extended its support to the Run the World Festival as
the technology partner. The event is to be held at Katara in Doha from 11th to 18th
December. CGC will also provide TETRA communications devices and Nokia mobile
phones to the organizers as part of its initiative to inspire and support young generation
in Qatar.
The festival is being organized by The Youth Company (TYC), the first social enterprise
to be run by young people in Qatar. The inaugural festival will focus on the theme of
sport and youth empowerment.
Mohamed Farid, CEO of TYC, thanked CGC for supporting the TYC’s efforts. “Good
