AVLS is a real-time vehicle tracking system that combines GPS technology, cellularcommunications, street-level mapping, and an intuitive user interface to provide a continuousposition and velocity of a moving vehicle for complete control.
Besides offering technical and service assistance, CGC also provided round the clock sitesupport in tracking, monitoring and generating reports using AVLS system with complete backup facility. A 24 hours control room at the festival area in the Katara cultural village ensuredprompt tracking services by CGC technical team.
CGC's provided AVLS gave DFI access to reports on vehicle location, movement, over-speeding, misuse, geo fencing and other violations. This technology helped DFI to minimizeany hazards to the guests and officials and also ensured smooth conducting of the talk-of-townevent. Any misuse of the vehicle was eliminated and safety of officials and delegates were fullyinsured. Through the AVLS, DFI could effectively enforce total compliance to the pre-definedroutes and destination and ensured timely arrival and departure of the delegates.
