If the City project is completed prior to, or in coordination with the proposed new school, this is the estimate of potential project cost savings.
This value includes construction, soft costs, sales tax, and inflation.
The City project is still in early phases of development and a detailed cost estimate is not available.

$2,000,000 - Potential value of one year construction inflation on 5-6 & 7-8 project. If the District elected to proceed with design phases prior to bond election, the District has the opportunity to begin construction a year ahead of schedule, saving one year of construction cost inflation.
Potential additional savings in fewer portables to purchase in future years.
