AND SEAT SELECTION PROCESS.

PRECEDING TO ENTRANCE TEST
DURING THE ENTRANCE TEST
1. The application form is a combination of both ICR and OMR concept. Candidates are required to fill the
application form using blue or black ink ballpoint pen and also for few items candidates are required to fill andshade the respective circles of item.
2. The information / particulars furnished by the candidates in their CET - 2011 application form is FINAL.
3. Before claiming eligibility for Government seats, make sure that you satisfy any one of the eligibility clausesdetailed in Item 6 of Chapter I of the brochure. The candidates who do not satisfy any of the eligibilityclauses will not be eligible for admission to Government seats.
4. If the information furnished by the candidates in the application form or any other documents submitted bythe candidates / parents are found to be false / incorrect, such candidate's seat will be cancelled at any pointof time during his course of study and criminal proceedings will be initiated by the Government against thecandidate.
5. The ward of Jammu & Kashmiri migrants are required to appear for the Common Entrance Test foradmission to professional courses for the seats earmarked for them by the Government. (Refer Item7(5) ofChapter I of the brochure.)
6. Make sure that you have affixedONLY your LEFT HAND THUMB IMPRESSION within the space providedon the backside of the application form.
7. Before submitting the filled application form to the Principals / KEA, the candidates should take a photocopyof the filled application form and should keep it with them for all future reference / correspondence.
8. While submitting the filled application form, do not enclose any paper / certificate / marks card to the filledapplication form.
9. If you have studied TEN full academic years continuously from 1st to 10th standards in Kannada Medium,then you are eligible to claim reservation under Kannada Medium quota.
10. Candidates who have submitted their filled application form to the concerned schools / colleges withinKarnataka, will get their Admission Tickets through the respective schools / colleges. The candidates whohave submitted their filled application forms through 'Speed Post' directly to KEA will get their AdmissionTickets by 'Speed Post' to the address furnished by them in their application form.
11. If any candidate fails to receive the admission ticket within the stipulated time, then he / she has to contactthe respective Principals of the institution / KEA office with a photocopy of the filled application form.

The candidates must appear for Common Entrance Test in PCB subjects for admission to Medical / Dental /Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy courses and PCM subjects for admission to Engineering /Technology Courses conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority. For admission to Architecturecourse candidates must appear for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Councilof Architecture. 3. The candidates should read the instructions printed on the OMR answer sheets before answering. The
candidates have to mark the correct answers on the OMR answer sheets using BLUE OR BLACK INKBALL POINT PEN ONLY.

Qualifying examination (45% in case of SC, ST, CAT 1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3Bdisability of mental retardation or mental illness (including dislexia) category candidates) and 40% marks inNATA (including SC, ST, CAT 1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B categories. The candidate who wants to select onlyArchitecture seat need not to appear for Common Entrance Test, but they have to submit theCET - 2011 filled application form without fail within the specified time. NATA scorecard should besubmitted to this office along with a copy of the 2nd PU / 12th Std. examination marks card.
8. The candidates are requested to verify their qualifying examination marks printed on the result sheetswithout fail, if there is any discrepancy with reference to qualifying examination marks, the same should bebrought to the notice of this office immediately for assignment of new ranks, if any.
9. If the qualifying examination marks of the candidates get changed due to revaluation or re-totaling then thecandidates are required to submit a copy of the changed marks card to the KEA for assignment of revised /new rank.
10. The seat selection in respect of Physically Disabled, NCC and Sports special category candidates will beheld separately for Medical / Dental, I. S. M. & Homoeopathy and Engineering / Technology courses. Theother Special category candidates such as Defence, Ex-Defence, Scouts & Guides and Anglo-Indian will beallowed to select the respective special category seats along with the general merit candidates in the order
of merit, when their turn comes in the general admission round. (Refer for details).11. All the candidates (GM, SC, ST Category I and OBC category candidates) must compulsorily produce theobtained from the head of the institution where the candidate has passed the 10th
standard / SSLC examination, by mentioning the Standards, Academic years, Mother Tongue as per theadmission register of the institution. (Refer for study certificate proforma)
12. Candidates belonging to reserved categories should submit caste / income certificate as the case may be,issued by the Concerned Tahasildar inForm 'D' for SC, ST, inForm 'E' for Category-I and inForm 'F' for 2A,2B, 3A and 3B categories.
13. The candidates who had obtained a seat in the previous years in any discipline through KEA (CET Cell) willnot be eligible for selection of a seat in the same discipline during this year. Such candidates who select
seats in the other discipline will forfeit the seat already selected during previous years.14. Please read the refund and forfeiture conditions detailed in this brochure carefully.
15. KEA will publish on its website all the details of candidates who have selected seats under reservedcategory in courses, such as candidate's name,father's name, category under which seat selected, annual income of the parent etc., after the casualvacancy round.
16. If a candidate does not surrender the seat to KEA during casual vacancy seat selection round before his/herturn comes, then he / she is deemed to have got admitted to the seat selected by him / her in either of therounds.
17. If a candidate decides to surrender the seat, he / she has to surrender the seat only to KEA, merely notreporting to the selected college should not be presumed by the candidate that he / she has surrendered theseat to KEA.
18. The candidates who claim seat under rural category will have to obtain a rural study certificate from therespective school / high school issued by the head of the institution which should be countersigned byconcerned Block Educational Officer (BEO) as per format shown at page 56.
19. General merit candidates who claim seat in rural category should also submit an income certificate issuedfrom the concerned Tahasildar along with the rural study certificate, as per format shown at page 52.
20. The candidates who have studied in the areas mentioned in are not eligible to claim ruralcategory seat. However, if the place where the candidate had studied f rom 1st to 10th standard had
been declared as a rural area at the time of his / her s tudies, he / she will be eligible under rural quota,even though the same place has been declared as urban area later.

WHAT IS NEW IN THIS YEAR?
From this year KEA will hold ONLINE seat selection process at Belgaum and Chitradurga apart fromShimoga, Mangalore, Hubli, Gulbarga and Bangalore for Medical, Dental, Indian Systems of Medicine andHomoeopathy, Engineering / Technology and Architecture courses. Please read page 35 for more details.
minimum of 50% marks in the optional subjects in the Qualifying Examination. 45% of marks in Q.E. in case
of SC, ST, Category-I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B Category candidates, please read page 12 for more details abouteligibility.Eligibility criteria for admission to Engineering / Technology courses will be Chemistry / Bio-Technology /Biology along with Physics and Mathematics, as per AICTE Approval 2011-2012 Hand book. Electronics andComputer Science studied in the qualifying examination will not be considered along with Physics andMathematics for eligibility for admission to Engineering courses from this year.

category seat. However, if the place where the candidate had studied from 1st to 10th standard had beendeclared as a rural area at the time of his / her studies, he / she will be eligible under rural quota, even thoughthe same place has been declared as urban area later.
Candidates will receive SMS alerts from KEA, with regard to Common Entrance Test, Seat SelectionProcess and other important events. Therefore, candidates or required to furnish their mobile numberinvariably in the application form.

The Government of Karnataka established Common Entrance Test Cell in the year 1994 for conducting of
Entrance Test and to determine the merit of the candidates for admission to Professional courses such as
Medical, Dental, Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy, Engineering / Technology & Architecture
courses.
To expand the activities of the CET Cell, the Government by order No. ED. 212 TEC 2006 dated
20-12-2006 has converted the Common Entrance Test Cell in to an autonomous body Registered under
Societies Registration Act 1960 called Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2011 is being conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility /merit, for admission of Karnataka candidates and the ward of Jammu & Kashmiri migrants to the First year or
First semester of full time courses in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy & Yoga,Engineering, Technology courses and NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the Council ofArchitecture for Architecture course, in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided professionaleducational institutions in the state of Karnataka for the academic year 2011-12.
Admissions to the Government seats shall be made in accordance with the
(in short ) as amended from time to time and therefore the details and inst ructions contained inthis Brochure are subject to the said Rules.
In order to obtain admission to any of the professional courses through KEA, a candidate must appear for theCommon Entrance Test, which will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore (Hereinafter referred to as KEA). The Common Entrance Test-2011 will be conducted at 50 places, spread overKarnataka (See for details). Candidates who have studied the Qualifying Examination withinKarnataka should write 'CET-2011' in a test centre assigned by the KEA within the district in which the candidatehas studied 2nd PUC or 12th standard.

The Kannada Language testwill be conducted by KEA as per the above schedule in the premises of KEA, at 18th Cross, Malleshwaram,Bangalore;
(No separate admission ticket will be issued for Kannada language Test).
Appendix - VII.
The candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Horanadu &Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses and whose mother tongue is Kannada, Tulu or Kodava, will have to undergo aKannada language test, to establish their ability to speak, read and write Kannada.

standard or equivalent examination(herein after referred to as the qualifying examination or Q. E. in
short) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study
and obtained an aggregateminimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the
Q. E. and who has secured not less than 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and
Biology subjects in the Common Entrance Test (herein after referred to as CET) is eligible for
admission to courses. 40% of marks in both Q. E. and CET in case of SC, ST, Category-Iand OBC Category candidates.
A candidate who has passed the Q. E. withPhysics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study andobtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the
Q. E. is eligible for admission to courses. 40% ofmarks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST, CategoryI and OBC Category candidates.
Based on the performance of the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects
in both Common Entrance Test and the Qualifying Examination by taking the marks in equal
proportions, the ISM and H rank list will be prepared and published separately for admission to
Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy & Yoga courses.
Further, the candidates seeking admission to Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani /
Naturopathy & Yoga courses, should have completed the age of as on
31st December of 2011.
A candidate who has passed the Q. E. with Physics andMathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology as optional subjects
with English as one of the languages of study and obtainedan aggregate minimum of 50% marks in the
optional subjects in the Q. E. is eligible for courses. 45% of marks in Q. E. in caseof SC, ST, Category-I and OBC Category candidates. Provided that, the marks obtained by the candidate inBio-Technology / Biology in the Q. E., will be considered in place of Chemistry, in case the marks obtained inChemistry is less for required aggregate percentage, only for the purpose of determination of eligibility
andnot for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of Engineering / Technology courses.
Based on the performance of the candidates in Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in both
Common Entrance Test and the Qualifying Examination by taking the marks in equal proportions, theEngineering rank li st wil l be prepared and published.
A candidate who has passed the Q. E. with Mathematics as one of the optionalsubjects and secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in all subjects in Q. E is eligible for admission to
course. 45% of marks in the case of SC, ST, Category-I, OBC candidates, and person withdisability of mental retardation or mental illness (including dislexia).
Provided that, a candidate should also appear and secure a minimum of 40% marks in NATA (including SC,ST, Category-I and OBC category candidates as per THE COUNCIL OF ARCHITECTURE IN ITS LETTER
NO. CA/ 5/ACADEMIC-NATA/DATED 20-03-2008) conducted by the Council of Architecture. The
candidates should submit the photocopy of the NATA SCORE CARD along with 12th std. marks card bymentioning the CET numberon or before to KEA either in person or through 'Speed Post'.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture or NATA is an All India level entrance examination conducted by theCouncil of Architecture for 200 marks, for admission of candidates to First year of five-year full time B. Arch.Degree course.
The Architecture seats in Government, Aided and Un-aided institutions of the State are offered ONLY to thecandidates who have appeared for NATA and who have obtained the prescribed minimum marks in bothQualifying Examination and NATA. Therefore, all the candidates who want to select Architecture seats, shouldcompulsorily appear for NATA, and should obtain a minimum of 40% marks including SC, ST, Category-I andOBC category candidates in NATA (In other words one has to secure a minimum of 80 MARKS OUT OF 200).Visit website for LIST OF INSTITUTIONS CONDUCTING NATA (NATIONAL APTITUDE TEST INARCHITECTURE) IN KARNATAKA. The interested candidates can appear for the NATA, any day before26-05-2011. Such candidates should obtain and submit their NATA scores along with the copy of the 2nd PU / 12Std. WHAT IS NATA?
The SC / ST/Category-I / OBC eligibility criteria is applicable to persons of Karnataka origin who are claimingeligibility for Government seats under clauses
of Item - 6 of Chapter I.
Not only a candidate who has passed the qualifying examination with requisite marks but also a candidate who is
appearing for the Q.E. and expecting the results is eligible to apply for the Common Entrance Test 2011.Students appearing for Karnataka 2nd PUC Annual 2011 need not submit their Q. E. marks card to theKEA, as it w ill be obtained directly f rom the Department of PUE. However, all other students who havepassed 12th s tandard examination such as CBSE, CISCE, 10+2, from other boards (includ ing J & K)before 2011 and who have appearing 2011 annual exam must COMPULSORILY send a photocopy o f their12th standard marks card by mentioning their CET Number to KEA. Repeater students of Karnataka2nd PU also should submi t their photocopy of the marks card on or before 11-05-2011. Otherwise, theresults of such candidates will be withheld for want of Q. E. Marks. However, intermediary ranks / Spotranks will be assigned in respect of with-held candidates only after submiss ion of photocopy of the Q. E.marks card. See box at Page - 31 about intermediary ranks / Spot ranks / ranks ending wi th G55, etc.
After the publication of the CET - 2011 results, the candidates whose Q. E. marks are changed due to revaluation/ retotalling, should immediately produce the revised marks card / statement of marks obtained from theDepartment of PUE/ Other boards in person only, to the KEA for getting the new ranks, if any.
The candidates are requested to verify their qualifying examination marks printed on the result sheetswithout fail, if there is any discrepancy with reference to qualifying examination marks the same should bebrought to the notice of this office immediately for assignment of fresh ranks.

The application form, which is common to all the candidates for admission to professional courses through KEA,is kept in this brochure. The candidates should fill the application form legibly using a BLUE or BLACK INK BALLPOINT PEN in capital letters only.
The application form is a combination of both ICR and OMR concept. Candidates are required to fill theapplication form using blue or black ballpoint pen and also for few items candidates are required to fill andshade the respective circles of item. For the benefit of the candidates, item-wise instructions are givenagainst each item regarding writing the item and writing and shading the items. Wherever CODES are given,fill the boxes in the application form with the appropriate codes only:
The filled application form submitted by the candidates will be scanned as it is. The details inthe application form will be the candidate's data for all further processing in the KEA computers. 5. WHERE TO SUBMIT THE FILLED APPLICATION FORM?
ASSIGNMENT OF EXAMINATION CENTRES
The candidates who have received the brochure cum application forms through their schools or colleges should
submit their filled applications to the respective schools or colleges. The Principals of all the schools and colleges
in Karnataka teaching 2nd PUC or 12th standard including CBSE & CISCE, have been requested to collect the
filled application forms from the students of their respective institutions by verifying whether the candidate has
written his / her correct 2nd PU register number, PU Student number, etc. along with proper affixation of thecandidate LEFT HAND THUMB IMPRESSION and also to forward the filled application forms to the KEA. The
last date for submission of filled application forms to the concerned Principals will be Candidates
who have submitted their filled applications through the schools and colleges should collect their Admission
Tickets from the respective schools and colleges on or after and the candidates who fail to get their
admission ticket, should immediately contact their respective Principals with the photocopy of their filled
application form.

The examination center for writing CET 2011 in respect of all the candidates will be assigned by the KEA
Computers on random basis. The candidates who have studied their Q. E. within Karnataka should write the
CET 2011 in a place within the district in which they have studied 2nd PUC or 12th standard. If the CET 2011
examination centers are located in more than one place in a district, the candidate can choose any one of the
places.For example: If the candidates have studied their 2nd PUC / 12th standard in Mysore or any place in the Mysore
district, then they have to write CET only in MYSORE. If they have studied in Bellary Dist, then they can write
CET either in HOSPET or in BELLARY.

Candidates who satisfy one of the following Clauses / Eligibility Criteria ONLY are eligible for selection of
Government seats in Government, Aided, Private Un-aided Minority / Non-minority institutions through KEA.
Each condition is specified as a clause and is individually referred by a code. The documents to be produced
during seat selection process in support of the claim for each of the Clauses are also detailed below the
respective clauses. The candidates who do not satisfy any of the Clauses / Eligibility Criteria detailed below and
the candidates who do not produce the prescribed documents in original will not be eligible for admission to
professional courses under Government quota seats.
ELIGIBILITY CLAUSES CODES
The candidate should have studied and passed in one or more Government or Government recognisededucational institutions located in the State of Karnataka for a minimum period of SEVEN academic yearscommencing from 1st standard to 2nd PUC / 12th standard as on 1st July of the year in which the EntranceTest is held and must have appeared and passed either SSLC / 10th standard or 2nd PUC / 12th standardexamination from Karnataka State. In case of the candidate who had taken more than one year to pass a class
or standard, the years of academic study is counted as one year only.SSLC / 10th standard Marks Card, 2nd PUC / 12th standard Marks Card of the
candidate, Candidates Study Certificate; If claiming Rural quota: - Rural Study Certificate; If claiming KannadaMedium quota: Kannada Medium Study Certificate; If claiming reservation benefits: Caste / Caste Income Certificateissued by Concerned Tahsildar- For SC / ST in Form-D, Category-I in form E and 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B in Form F.
The candidate should have studied and passed both 1st and 2nd year Pre-University Examination or 11th and12th standard examination within the State of Karnataka from an Educational Institution run or recognized bythe State Government and that either of the parents should have studied in Karnataka for a minimum period ofSEVEN years.

The candidate and either of his / her parents mother tongue should be Kannada, Tulu or Kodava and either ofparents was domiciled in the state of Karnataka, such candidate should have passed the qualifyingexamination from a University or Board or any other Institution located outside Karnataka and should beresiding outside the State of Karnataka as on 1st May of 2011. candidate along with (1) a domicile certificate issued by the concerned Revenue or Municipal Authorities certifyingthat the candidate and his either of parent have resided outside the state of Karnataka as on01-05-2011. (2) a domicile certificate issued by concerned Revenue Authorities of the state of Karnataka regarding theprevious domicile of the father / mother of the candidate as a place in the state of Karnataka. The place of the Issuingauthority should correspond to the place of domicile of the father / mother.(3) Candidates Study certificate, TransferCertificate. (4) Father / mother 10th standard marks card / original cumulative record in original in support of mothertongue as Kannada / Tulu / Kodava. (5) A duly sworn declaration regarding mother tongue of the candidates.Candidates should produce the photocopies of all the above documents compulsorily when they appear for

A candidate whose mother tongue is Kannada, Tulu or Kodava should have resided and studied for a periodof SEVEN YEARS between 1st and 12th standards in disputed Kannada speaking area of South Sholapur orAkkalkot or Jath or Gadhinglaj Taluks of Maharashtra State or Kasargod or Hosadurga Taluks of Kerala State.Provided that the candidate shall undergo a Kannada Language test conducted by KEA.

(2)candidates study certificate issued by the head of institution, which should be countersigned by Taluk Education
Officer. (3) a duly sworn declaration regarding mother tongue of the candidate. Candidate should produce thephotocopies of all the above documents compulsorily when they appear for Kannada Language Test on26-04-2011, failing which, ranks will not be assigned.
The candidates claiming eligibility under Clauses c and d above, should invariably speak, read and writeKannada. Otherwise, they will not be assigned ranks.
In the case of a candidate who is son or daughter of defence personnel who has worked continuously inKarnataka for a minimum period ofone yearin Karnataka during the Two year period of study of candidates inPUC / 11th and 12th Standard course. The candidate should have studied and passed the qualifyingexamination from any Government or Government recognised educational institution located in the State ofKarnataka.

candidate along with (1) the candidates study certificate for having studied 2nd PUC or equivalent examination inKarnataka issued by the head of the educational institution.
(2) employment certificate of the parent issued by the Controlling Office where the parent is working indicating theperiod during which he has worked in the State of Karnataka i.e., from the reporting date to till date.
Son or daughter of serving Defence personnel from Karnataka who at the time of joining the Defence servicehad declared his / her hometown a place in the State of Karnataka. Proof of such domicile should be obtainedand produced by obtaining the extract from the AGS branch (Army Hqs) record office Air Force and NavyConcerned record office of the defence unit. Further, the candidate should have passed the Q. E. from aUniversity or Board or any other institution located anywhere in India.

candidate; If claiming reservation benefits:- Caste / Caste Income Certificate issued by Concerned Tahsildar as per theprescribed format given in the brochure along with parents home town declaration certificate while joining the serviceissued by Record Office of the Defence unit, in Army / Air force / Navy etc. where the parents service records aremaintained.

The candidates who have studied TEN full academic years in Kannada Medium from 1st standard to 10th
standard in places outside the state of Karnataka. Such candidates need not appear for Kannada LanguageTest conducted by KEA. Provided the candidate should have studied and passed the qualifying examination
from any Government or Government recognised educational institution.
SSLC / 10th standard Marks Card and 2nd PUC / 12th standard Marks Card of thecandidate along with (1) a domicile certificate issued by the concerned Revenue or Municipal Authorities certifyingthat the candidate and his father / mother have resided outside the state of Karnataka as on01-05-2011. Provided further that, while considering the candidates mentioned in sub-clauses (I), (ii), (iii) and (iv), gold medal winnerswill be preferred to silver medallists who in turn will be preferred to bronze medallists under the respective sub-clauses,
irrespective of the number of medals.
Provided further that the candidates belonging to sub-clause (v) i. e., only who have represented the Karnataka
State shall be eligible to select the Sports special category seats, if any, only in the general round of seat selection

candidates shall submit the Original Presidents Award (Rashtrapati Certificate) of seatselection process as per their merit order. The Provisional Scouts / Guides Certificates will not be considered.
Son or daughter of Defence Personnel falling under Clauses (e), (f)
and (g) of Item 6 of Chapter - I of the Brochure should obtain and submit the Defence certificates in the prescribed format
as given in on failing which they will not be allowed for verification of certificates and also for the
later seat selection under Defence.
Defence personnel for the purpose of these clauses means a person in Defence Service including Personnel belonging toCivil GT COYS ASC who were Civilian Class III or Class IV Government servants and Border Roads Organisational
Personnel. (Vide Notification No. ED 189 TGL 94 Bangalore dated 29-07-1994).
(a) Candidates claiming eligibility under Clause (e) of Item 6 of Chapter I of this brochure should produce the
certificate of employment issued by the Controlling Office in the prescribed format as given in

Ex-Servicemen for the purpose of this clause includes personnel belonging to the Civil GT COYS ASC who wereCivilian Class III or Class IV Government Servants, who became permanently disabled or were killed duringhostilities.
The candidates claiming reservation under thiscategory will be required to appear for Medical examination on before a Committee comprising ofthe Executive Director, KEA as Chairman and three specialists from the Department of Orthopedics,Ophthalmology and ENT, nominated by the Government. Candidates with physical disability ranging above 40%should produce a Medical certificate issued by competent Doctor of any Government Hospital located in the
State of Karnataka in the field of concerned disability, only on the day of Medical examination i.e., onCandidates suffering from hearing disability should compulsorily obtain and produce a BSER (Brain StemEvoked Response) Audiometry report from NIMHANS / Manipal Hospital / Government Speech and HearingInstitute, Lingarajapuram, Bangalore.
For the purpose of thisproviso, persons with disability shall have the same meaning assigned to it, in the Persons with Disabilities(Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Participation) Act 1995 (Central Act 1 / 1995). The candidates withdisability less than 40% will not be eligible for claiming a seat under Physically Disabled category. The seatselection to the eligible candidates will be held on
The Physically Disabled candidates, who fail to appear before the Committee for Medical examination on
09-06-2011, will not be eligible for selection of a seat under Physically Disabled category.
Candidates from Anglo-Indian Community shouldproduce a certificate on 06-05-2011 issued by the Registered Association of the Anglo Indian Community in theState of Karnataka countersigned by the Anglo-Indian MLA Nominated by the Government, failing which they willnot be allowed for the later seat selection under Anglo-Indian.
The Special category candidates who satisfy Clause (a) of Item - 6 of Chapter - I of thebrochure, will also be eligible for claiming a seat under the respective Special categories.
1. Candidates belonging to Scouts & Guides, Defence, Ex-defence and Anglo-Indian i. e., sub-clauses (c), (d), (e) and (g) above, will be allowed to select the respective special category
seats as per their merit order ONLY in the general admission round seat selection processalong with the other general merit and reserved category candidates.
2. Candidates who are having only B certificate under NCC will be eligible to select the NCCspecial category seats, if any, in the general round of seat selection along with the otherGeneral Merit and reserved category candidates as per their merit order.
3. Candidates who have only represented the Karnataka State in B - GAMES under Sports, willbe eligible to select the Sports special category seats, if any, in the general round of seatselection along with the other General Merit and reserved category candidates as per theirmerit order.
4. Achievements made by the NCC / Sports special category candidates in the events / games,till the date of CET 2011 will be considered for selection of seats in the respective categories.
