In-App Messaging API OperationsOperation Description

Send Message Send SMS and MMS on behalf of subscriber, with subscriber’s consent. Subscriber’s mobile number will be communicated to the target recipients as the sender's address.

Get Message List Enables applications to request meta-data for one or more Subscriber Messages from the AT&T Cloud Message Service. The Application will request a block of messages from AT&T. AT&T will return a list of messages, returned in received order starting with the most recent. The maximum number of messages retrieved by the operation is 500.

Get Message Get a single message from a subscriber’s message inbox.

Get Message Content Uses information returned by the Get Message List operation to enable applications to fetch one or more subscriber messages from the AT&T Messages environment.

Get Messages Delta Provides capability to check for updates by passing in a client state. This is typically used when a client goes from being offline to becoming online.

Update Messages Allows the developer to update the flags that are associated with a collection of messages. The developer can pass in any number of messages.

Update Message Allows the developer to update the flags that are associated with a specific message. The developer passes in the messaged.


In-App Messaging API Operations

Operation Description

Delete Messages Gives the developer the ability to delete messages in an inbox. The messages are passed in the query string in the request.

Delete Message Gives the developer the ability to delete a specific message in an inbox.

Create Message Index Allows the developer to create an index cache for the subscriber’s inbox. In order to accommodate advanced filtering options, an index cache is used on the enabler

Get Message Index Info Allows the developer to get the state, status and message count of the index cache for the subscriber’s inbox.

Get Notification Connection details

Provides capability to retrieve details about the credentials, endpoint and resource information to setup a notification connection. This API needs to be invoked before a STOMP connection is established to subscribe for notifications.
