1. ODOT is moving towards more consultant construction inspection and testing.

2. Existing NICET requirement does not address ODOT specific requirements.

2. Compaction testing technicians working for the contractor under SS 878 or SS 879

• So expect projects with the requirement to start in the summer of 2013.
