• Certification with the ABPM is accessible within the year of residency completion.
ACCESSIBLE IN THE YEAR IN WHICH ONE ACHIEVES BOARD QUALIFICATION*
Certification
Over 1/3 of ABPM certification candidates examined in 2013 - 2016 sat in the year
of their residency completion

certification would help
me be able to join a
hospital staff. He was right.
I was brought onto hospital
staff right away after I
completed certification.”
