Only at Centenary can you start college in Paris, France.
Experience one of the world’s great cities while studying under some of America’s best professors.
WHAT IS CENTENARY IN PARIS?
You’ll complete your first college
course during Centenary’s August
2016 immersive term, with the 10-day
Centenary in Paris segment as the
centerpiece. Using all of Paris as a
classroom, it’s an intensive learning
experience that will help you create
strong bonds with your classmates
and your professors. You’ll also earn
four hours of college credit before
most other students around the
country even get to campus!
WHEN IS IT? HOW WILL IT WORK?
Your immersive term course will
begin on campus in early August
2016 and conclude later in the month,
including the 10-day Paris segment
led by Centenary faculty and staff.
When you deposit at Centenary, you
will be matched to a course based
on your interests. Centenary in Paris
2015 courses included “Daily Bread:
Sustainability in Paris,” “Paris Noir –
Black America in the City of Light,”
and “Writing Paris/Writing Home.”

Every one of my students who visited Paris with me last year discovered multiple ways that their lives are connected to Paris and beyond. They left surprised, delighted...and thoughtful.”

Rather than a traditional American hotel
experience, you will stay at an international
educational exchange facility known as FIAP
Jean Monnet. You will be able to engage with
other cultures in a hostel that specializes in
hosting international youth. It is located in the
heart of Paris on the left bank between the
Place Denfert Rocherau and the Place d’Italie.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
Apart from incidentals while in Paris (Eiffel
Tower souvenirs!), new Centenary students
pay no additional fees for Centenary in Paris.

“Paris had a huge effect on my first year at Centenary.
Experiencing a foreign country before classes even
began improved my confidence more than I can
express. Centenary in Paris completely changed
my career path. Before Paris, I was convinced that I
was destined to be a doctor. Before Paris, the word
sustainability was not even in my vocabulary. After
Paris, I decided to become an environmental attorney.
There is no other experience that can even begin to
rival the one that Centenary offers.”/centenarycollegela
