PART A: Pattern Of Census as Conducted in Different Countries



Students of class IX & X collected the census forms of different countries from Internet

U.K. U.S.A.

India



Questionnaires based on census forms were prepared which enhanced the students’ knowledge about the types of questions in

census forms of different countries



Children got the questionnaires for all four countries filled up by ten neighbouring families



The data filled up by the neighbours were represented in graphical form which helped the students to learn more about the actual pattern of census



Projects were prepared giving information about census pattern in U.K. it was compared with India



Projects about Census pattern in U.S.A.



Projects for census pattern in China and its comparison with that in India



General concepts related to Census were studied and included in the projects



Interview with neighbours about the project done by the students
