Streamlining intralogistics & materials handling for tomorrow’s supply chain

On behalf of all of us at CeMAT Australia, I would like to offer a big thank you to our sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, VIPs and visitors for making this year’s event a big success. We saw 105 organisations from 12 different countries showcase the best of intralogistics technology and equipment. A big thank you to our sponsors: C.H. Robinson; Vanderlande; Knapp; Panasonic Business; Paperless Warehousing Group; Swisslog; Dematic and CHEP.

We saw a 17% increase in visitor numbers from 2016 but what really struck me was the quality of the visitors who attended, with senior logistics professionals from some of the world’s largest organisations visiting this year’s exhibition. We reserved 40% of the CeMAT Australia 2020 exhibition space onsite, so I think this is a good reflection of the conversations that were had by exhibitors and visitors. Further details of who attended can be found in this report.

The Knowledge Theatre once again proved to be a popular addition to the exhibition and there was standing room for some of the sessions. We have already begun discussing the plans of how to expand this offering for 2020’s event.

CeMAT Australia 2020 will take place on the 7-9 July 2020 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

We will also be running CeMAT Digital 2019 in Sydney from the 29-31 October 2019, this will showcase the technology driving Industry 4.0. Please contact Prudence Quinn on +61 2 9282 7503 or myself for more information.

I look forward to working with you again on CeMAT Australia.

Yours sincerely,

Daniel Mortimer Exhibition Director

Thank you from the Exhibition Director

Glidepath’s goal in attending CeMAT 2018 was to promote our new range of pre-packaged automation solutions for courier, warehousing and distribution applications. The synergy

between the event organisers and the assigned contractors streamlined the planning, setup and exhibiting process so that we could focus on our goal. Glidepath had a fantastic response and achieved wide exposure within our target market. We would like to thank the CeMAT team for their diligence in guiding us through this event, from planning to execution via a personalised approach. We look forward to exhibiting again in 2020.

James Harper, Sales Manager, Glidepath

Cowin Global Australia exhibited at CeMAT 2018 in Melbourne and again can only say it was a great success.

We increased our quality leads by 100% from 2016, the people we met on the stand were the decision makers which is exactly what any business needs to increase their market awareness as well as increase their sales. We not only took orders directly from the stand but within a week of the show being over we have received numerous purchase orders from new customers. We confirmed our spot on the last day of the show to exhibit at CeMAT 2020 and have no doubt it will be a sound investment in our future in Australia. I would urge anyone thinking of exhibiting at CeMAT 2020 to stop thinking and confirm your spot now, as it is, without doubt a great show, well organised and marketed to ensure the right people attend. You will reap the rewards.

Greg Perrot, Managing Director, Cowin Global Australia

Exhibitor feedback

CeMAT Australia once again provided a fantastic opportunity for Dematic to

exhibit its wide range of solutions, connect with a number of business leaders and decision makers, and share and discuss innovations in the industry.
