Thank YouHaving had children

who have been and cur-rently are involved inStebens Children’s Theatreproductions, I actually felta bit of jealousy when Iwatched the littleMunchkins perform at theWizard of Oz at NIACCearlier this week; jealous, only because my childrenwere too old and too big tomeet the height requiredby the touring company. These Stebens Tier stu-dents were chosen to per-form with this NationalTour while in Mason Cityand did an amazing job! Ihave heard from severalpeople who would havethought they were profes-sionals that did this pro-duction every night.

Mason City is so fortu-nate to have a children’stheatre of this caliber witha director whose passionfor the performing artsshines in the outstandingperformances that thesekids put on. Not only doesit provide them a place tolearn and perform, it pre-pares them to be outstand-ing young adults.

Thanks to ElizabethGales for bringing thesewonderful events to MasonCity and for allowing theStebens Children’s Theatrestudents to be a part ofsomething they will neverforget. Thanks to all the
