the manifesto Club have adapted the official british Citizenship test into a gloriously bizarre pub quiz – come and join in the fun and find out whether you would pass or fail! the debate about true citizenship starts here.

TUeSdAy24nOVeMberiMMigrANT SONg CONTEST TALK AND Q&A WiTh TiM SAMuELS
running alongside this year’s eurovision song Contest in moscow was an intriguing alterna-tive in london - the immigrant song Contest staged by bbC 2’s newsnight. like it’s eurovi-sion sister, this contest also celebrated our cultural diversity and love of cheesy music – but with a twist. the winners were iranian band Font who had previously been jailed for performing gigs in tehran and won with their indie cover of Cliff richard’s ‘Congratulations’.
triple-rts-winning documentary maker tim samuels came up with the idea for the contest and will join us for a special event at the Chelsea theatre to screen footage from the project and talk about why he developed the idea and the stories behind the statistics on immigration to the uK.
