Adjudicators

Betty Dargie Betty is third generation show business. Her grandfather was the renound Horrie Dargie, her grandmother was Tivoli Theatre star dancer Betty Gleu and her mother and Aunt made up Australia's best-known sister act 'The Dargie Sisters'. Betty is a seasoned performer in her own right. She has worked in the entertainment industry for over 17 years as a professional Singer, Actor, Dancer, Model, Choreographer and Producer. She has travelled the world performing and is also a MO Award winner. Betty is now the co-Director of Dargie Entertainment (along with her partner Ben Murray), one of Sydney’s busiest elite live entertainment production and talent management companies. Dargie Entertainment employs a large group of dancers, models, singers, circus performers and specialty acts for the Australian and International entertainment market.

Simone Samuel Simone Samuel comes with 24 years experience within the dance industry. She has worked extensively over the past 9 years as a choreographer/dance teacher/creative consultant across Sydney, Gold Coast and Brisbane, working with all ages and abilities beginner through to elite. Simone was privileged to work as a choreographer for Club Med - Lindeman Island where she was in charge of choreographing, creating, developing and staging evening entertainment. Her choreographic credits include such events as Western Sydney Business Awards, The Heart Foundation “Tiny Tickers Ball”, William Rose Ball, High Tec Oil girls, Sydney Royal Easter Show and countless other live events. Simone currently works as a freelance teacher/choreographer for private dance studios across Sydney. She has studied with some of Australia’s leading choreographers and teachers. She has completed her Certificate 4 in Dance Teaching & Management and Cert 2 In Live Production Theatre & Events. Simone also makes frequent trips to the USA taking classes at prestige studios such as Hollywood and Broadway Dance Centre to ensure her dance education stays up to date with the newest styles and trends and also forge professional opportunities for her students. This year Simone is travelling to New York to partake in the NY Dance Teachers Summit.
