Whatever the occasion, enjoy a flavour of Devon with our private dining option at Gara Rock or as we like to think of it, our beach house. Our talented chefs will curate a bespoke menu using the very best local produce to delight your taste buds. If it’s a small and intimate dining experience with only your closest family or friends, our private table seating up to 14 guests is just for you. For larger fanfares, our restaurant or terrace, both offering spectacular views, can seat up to 120 guests so you can host an exceptional dinner that your guests will never forget.

POP THE QUESTIONIN STYLE...

You’ve found The One for you and now you’re looking for that perfect place to pop the all-important question. Look no further, here at Gara Rock we have plenty of out of this world places to create that magical proposal. For a quiet and intimate backdrop, choose your own private suite with hot tub, in room dining and bubbles on ice – we’ll help with any extra little touches to make it bespoke to you.

Or you can make the most of our lovely location and surprise your other half with a walk around the coastal headland or head to your private beach below our hotel. You’ll be sure to find a romantic spot with the sand between your toes and the waves lapping the shore for a memorable proposal you can’t wait to share with your family and friends.

GETAWAYSWITH FRIENDS...

Gather your special group of friends and come for a fun weekend away by the coast. Whether it’s your annual or monthly get together, seasonal escape or a milestone occasion, you can make it as relaxing or as adventurous as you wish. Just let us know which activities you’d like us to line up for you. From a private yacht trip or paddleboarding to horse riding or a Land Rover driving experience, there’s plenty to do. For something less energetic, you can head over to Salcombe for a mooch around or just stay with us and make the most of the indoor and outdoor pools, cinema room or spoil yourselves with our spa treatments, the choice is yours.

For an extra treat, why not book our Penthouse or Rotunda, which sleep between 6-10 guests. This way you can all stay together, catching up over bubbles and talking into the night. You can also enjoy a midnight dip in the hot tub stargazing. We’ll even cook for you here, arranging for our chef to come and host your meal, so all you need to worry about is dressing for dinner!

OUR RESTAURANT (80-120 guests)The restaurant offers the perfect setting to bring everyone together. With idyllic views across the beach, it’s a very special (some may say spectacular) venue in which to celebrate.

Seamlessly moving from day to night, let the celebrations continue with a live band or DJ. And get everyone dancing.

OUR TERRACE (maximum 180 guests)If a relaxed and casual gathering is more your style, our terrace is the spot to welcome your guests. Enjoy canapés and champagne, while your photographer snaps away, capturing picture perfect moments.

Alternatively, we can offer al fresco style barbecues and banquets.

OUR LOUNGEJust off the restaurant is our stylishly cosy lounge, which benefits from its own bar. Imagine sipping champagne, taking in panoramic views on chillier days.
