Exhibition RegulationsExhibition Regulations1. General rules(1) Exhibitors and persons associated with this exhibition are required to observe exhibition

regulations and stipulated by-laws for the safety and smooth operation of this exhibit.

(2) Since there are many large machines displayed in this exhibition, the layout of the halland arrangement of the exhibitors will be determined by the organizers of the exhibitiontaking into overall consideration floor area for exhibits, and size, weight, and content ofexhibits. Changes cannot be made to accommodate requests by exhibitors.Announcement of sites for the exhibitors will be made in the Exhibitors Manual.

(3) The organizers bear no liability whatsoever for acts of nature and other uncontrollableevents or accidents caused by the carelessness of exhibitors. Participants are covered byan insurance policy provided by the organizer. Furthermore, regarding small displayitem that can be easily carried in and out, it is the responsibility of the exhibitor toarrange for security measures to prevent theft or other loss.

2. Exhibits(1) Exhibits should be limited to those items complying with the purpose of the exhibit,

approved by the organizer beforehand.

(2) Displays of the following items are prohibited.

1) Items whose import, export, and sale are banned, drugs or other items banned by law.

2) Substances of inflammable, explosive, or radioactive nature.

3) Goods constituting an infringement on industrial ownership.

4) Exhibits that use open fires (unless permission is obtained in advance from the firedepartment)

5) Items not authorized by the Secretariat in advance.

6) Goods which governmental agencies have recommended not be displayed

7) Materials apt to violate laws and regulations, and those which are contrary to publicorder and morals.

(3) The organizer may restrict or prohibit display of items prior to or during the show, whenthe organizer deems they prevent normal operation of the exhibition, even though theymay not included in the above regulations.

(4) If exhibitors display items that are restricted or prohibited by the above clauses (2) and(3), the organizer will notify the exhibitor to stop displaying the item in question ormake the display conform to regulations. Exhibitors must conform to the regulationsimmediately after receiving the notice.

(5) If the exhibitor fails to follow instructions of the organizer of (4) above, the exhibitormust immediately pay a penalty amounting to three times the exhibition fee. Theorganizer may remove the exhibits at exhibitor's expense or take whatever measuresnecessary and exhibitors may not seek to be reimbursed by the organizer for costsincurred in this matter.

(6) It is recommended that patents be applied for in advance of the show (before displaying)for any items exhibited that utilize new ideas or technology.

3. ProhibitionsExhibitors are prohibited to do the following

(1) To transfer or lend a part or the whole exhibition area to a third party with or withoutcharge.

(2) To set or post any billboards, bulletin boards, or advertisement signs, inside, outside ornear the exhibition building other than in designated areas.

(3) To bring in any offensive or foul-smelling substances which will disturb others.

(4) To do anything which will be a nuisance to others, or harmful to the exhibition building.

(5) Any other conduct prohibited by these exhibition regulations.

4. On-Site Inspections(1) The organizer, when he or she deems it necessary in regard to building protection,

sanitation, crime and fire prevention, support activities, or other administrative reasons,may enter into the exhibition booth for inspection and take appropriate measures.

(2) Exhibitors must cooperate with the organizer in the measures above.

(3) An on-site inspection will be made at the time of the inspection by the fire departmentthe day before or the first day of the show.

5. Cancellation of contractThe organizer is entitled to cancel the exhibition contract with exhibitors without any notice,if any of the following apply to the exhibitor. If the organizer suffers any damages, theorganizer may charge the loss to the exhibitor.

(1) When an exhibitor does not pay all or a part of the exhibition fee.

(2) When an exhibitor displays prohibited items and does not follow exhibition regulations.

(3) When an exhibitor tries to use his exhibition booth for purposes other than exhibitingitems.

(4) When an exhibitor does not use his exhibition booth.

(5) When an exhibitor is on the verge of dissolution, provisional seizure, or disposal,execution, bankruptcy, reorganization, or company restructuring.

(6) When an exhibitor's check or draft was not honored.

(7) When an exhibitor has been charged for nonpayment of taxes or other public fees.

(8) When an exhibitor causes the loss of credibility for the organizer.

(9) When an exhibitor does not follow these exhibition regulations or exhibition rules basedon them.

6. Changes in exhibit regulationsThe organizer may, when unavoidable, make changes to these exhibition regulations andrules. Exhibitors are obligated to agree to such changes and observe the new regulations.

7. Exhibition of foreign cargo/Exhibition of bonded goods(1) Foreign cargo including exhibits, exhibition materials, and pamphlets, which will be

sold, transferred or consumed in Japan, are required to go through necessary customsprocedures.

(2) This show has applied to serve as an exhibition venue for bonded goods. Foreign cargocan be displayed as bonded goods, as long as such foreign cargo is shipped outimmediately after the exhibition. Since the permission for bonded exhibition will beapplied collectively by the organizer, exhibitors who plan to display bonded goods arerequired to submit "List of bonded goods" (Form No. 5 for Submission) by July 16 tothe Exhibition Office.

Exhibitors who do not submit the form before the deadline may not be allowed todisplay the items.

8. Regulations governing heavy exhibitsThe following restrictions are imposed on installation of heavy items in all exhibition halls toprotect the facilities. When installing heavy exhibits, exhibitors are requested to follow theregulations regarding installation and protection described below.

(1) Exhibit hall flooring finish is concrete

Bearable weight of the floor 5 t/m2

Anchor bolt drilling allowed (diameter 16 mm or less, shield depth 60 mm or less)

(2) Maximum weight on floor

1) Items whose unit weight divided by the horizontally projected area size exceeds 5t/m2 may not be installed.

Note: These cases require protection even if the weight is within weight limits.

2) If the unit weight of exhibits exceeds 50 tons, the Tokyo International ConventionCenter must be consulted in advance.

(3) Transporting items in and out

1) Vehicles whose total weight (vehicle weight + load weight) exceeds 45 tons cannotenter the exhibition halls. Vehicle must not exceed a speed of 10 km/h inside theexhibition halls.

2) Exhibitors are required to install and dismantle iron plates or rubber mats at theirown expense if such items are needed to disperse weight or protect the floor whentransporting exhibit equipment or crawler type exhibits in or out or setting theseexhibits up. (Refer to page 29 [13] for protection of iron plates.)

(4) Restrictions when installing exhibits

1) The protection of lifting cranes must not exceed a 45-ton rough terrain crane.

2) Outrigger bases must not be placed on pit covers. Furthermore, the tires of trucks,

trailers, rough terrain cranes, and other vehicles should not be driven over the pitcovers.

3) The protection for outrigger bases according to size is as follows.

- 35 ton rough terrain crane or smaller: a plate 500 mm X 500 mm (thickness 16 mm orgreater) should be used.

- 45 ton rough terrain crane: a plate 500 mm X 500 mm placed on a plate 1000 mm X1000 mm (thickness 16 mm or greater) should be used.

(5) Restrictions on placementThe floor of the exhibition hall is divided into zones (6 m X 18 m or 6 m X 12 m) surroundedby pits. Restrictions on total weight of exhibits for each of the zones are as follows. If theweight exceeds these limits, prior consultation with the Tokyo Exhibition Hall is required.

(6) Restriction on pits and surrounding areas

1) The total weight of an exhibit must not be placed in a pit or its surroundings (within200 mm of a pit), nor should a concentrated weight be placed on a pit. However, thisrestriction does not apply if the weight load is 3 ton/m2 or less.

2) If an exhibit weighing 3 ton or more is installed on a pit or its surrounding area, areinforcing iron plate (at least 16 mm thick) must be placed to protect the pit (width800 mm) and its surrounding area (200 mm from the pit).

9. Demonstrations(1) If demonstrations involve use of any danger, noise, vibration, offensive odor, heat, gas,

dust, sound, or light beam, exhibitors are required to institute complete fire preventionmeasures as well as measures to insure that other exhibitors or visitors are notendangered or inconvenienced in any way.

(2) When the organizer deems it necessary to protect the building, maintain order, safety,and impact on other exhibitors, the organizer may require exhibitors to take necessarymeasures or order them to restrict or stop the demonstration.

(3) Demonstrations involving operation of engines are not permitted. Since smoke alarmsare installed in each exhibition hall, demonstrations that generate smoke are notpermitted.

(4) If a demonstration will cause vibration, anti-vibration equipment must be installed inthe exhibit so that the vibration does not directly affect the building.

(5) Exhibitors are responsible for the disposal of waste oil, scraps, chemicals, or any otherwaste matter used in any demonstrations.

10. Exhibit demonstrations(1) When holding a demonstration, care should be exercised so that sounds, lights, and

number of participants are kept to levels that will not inconvenience nearby exhibitors.Moreover, the demonstration should not create any congestion in the aisles.

(2) When using a microphone or other Audio/Visual equipment, speakers must be turned

to face the inside of the booth. If the Secretariat receives any complaints from nearbyexhibitors, the sound volume must be turned down when so requested by theSecretariat.

(3) If neighboring exhibitors attempt to hold demonstrations at the same time, which wouldinconvenience other nearby exhibitors and create congestion in the aisles, the exhibitorsmust negotiate a compromise to hold their demonstrations at different times.

11. Safekeeping of exhibit items(1) Exhibitors are responsible for and must bear the expense of transporting exhibit items to

and from their booths and safeguarding their displays.

(2) The organizer will not be liable for any damage to or theft of exhibits, including thatcaused by uncontrollable forces or other natural causes, except in cases where theorganizer is at fault.

(3) Exhibitors are encouraged to take whatever measures needed, such as insurance, toprotect their exhibits during transport and storage during the show.

12. Accident prevention and liability(1) Exhibitors are encouraged to exercise care in preventing accidents when transporting,

displaying, demonstrating, and removing exhibits.

(2) The organizer may order exhibitors to restrict or stop exhibits or take other measuresnecessary to prevent accidents at the exhibitors' expense.

(3) Excluding cases where the organizer is at fault, the organizer shall not be held liable forany accidents whatsoever.

(4) Responsibility for collapse or fall of exhibits or displays shall rest solely with theexhibitor at fault. It is thus highly recommended that adequate safety precautions areinstituted.

13. Cancellation by exhibitors(1) When exhibitors wish to cancel their application after the application deadline, such

cancellation will not be permitted unless approved by the organizer.

(2) If the organizer approves cancellation of an exhibitor's application based on thepreceding paragraph, the exhibitor must pay the cancellation fee in accordance with theregulations at the time of application.

14. Modification or cancellation of the show(1) If the show cannot be held due to uncontrollable forces or other natural causes, the

organizer may cancel or modify the show.

(2) The organizer shall not be held liable for damages or losses incurred by exhibitors orother persons in the case of the events of the preceding paragraph.

15. Entrance into the exhibit hall(1) The halls will be open at 8:00 AM for entry during the show and the days for moving

items in and out (excluding 9/16).

(2) An entry pass issued by the Secretariat is required to enter the halls. There are threetypes of passes: "Transport vehicle badge," "Exhibitor badge," and "Worker badge."These badges may be used at the following times.

- For the periods to move items in: "Transport vehicle badge," "Exhibitor badge," or"Worker badge"

- During the show: "Exhibitor badge"

- For the periods to move items out: "Transport vehicle badge," "Exhibitor badge," or"Worker badge"

(3) Please fill in the necessary items on the "Application for entry pass" (Form No. 6 forSubmission) and submit it to the Secretariat by July 31.

1) Exhibitors who wish to work overtime must submit an application to the Secretariatin advance.

2) Moving items in and out during the period of the show is strictly prohibited.However, if exhibitors must do so for unavoidable reasons, a written applicationmust be made to the Secretariat in advance. (An application is not needed for itemsthat can be manually carried in or out.) The vehicles must move out of the exhibitionsite immediately after completing the transport of exhibit items.

3) Between 16:40 and 18:00 on September 22 (Sat), the last day of the show, no vehiclesare allowed to enter the hall except for official vehicles of the organizers. Please usethis time to pack up exhibits and manually carry out items.

4) To ensure smooth carrying in and out, please implement planned systematic carryingoperation.

(2) Transport Route

The transport route is shown in the map above. Please follow the directions given bysecurity guards regarding where you can enter, wait, and stop. As a general rule, vehiclesshould enter the waiting area for moving vehicles at one time, then follow directions givenby the security guards to move into the exhibition hall. Please keep in mind that entrance tothe exhibition hall may be restricted due to congestion inside the hall.

(3) 1) The "Transport Vehicle Badge" issued by the Secretariat must be placed in the frontwindshield when moving items in or out. Be sure to fill out the pass ahead of time.

2) Anyone wishing to enter the hall must wear either an "Exhibitor Badge" or a "WorkerBadge" issued by the Secretariat. No one without one of these badges will be allowedinto the hall.

(4) Please refrain from stopping with engines idling inside the exhibition hall. Vehiclesshould move out of the hall immediately after loading or unloading. Please observe thespeed limit in the hall. The Road Traffic Law and the Police Department do not permitparking on roads around the exhibition site.

(5) In order to prevent damage to the building and facilities, the surface should be protected

if necessary. Exhibitors will be responsible for the costs to repair any damage. An ironplate protection is essential for crawler type exhibitions and self-propelled treads.

(6) If moving heavy items in or out requires a crane please follow the instructions in "8.Regulations governing heavy exhibits." (see page 7)

(7) In order to have a grasp on the use of large trucks to move heavy exhibits and to be ableto ease congestion, exhibitors who plan to use trailers for moving exhibits in or out mustsubmit details in writing to the Secretariat in advance.

(8) Exhibitors are required to be present when moving exhibits in or out. Drivers who didnot know where to unload their cargo have been observed causing confusion at everyshow in the past. Also be careful to prevent thefts and other accidents. The organizercannot be liable whatsoever for any thefts or other accidents that may occur.

(9) Since there are height restrictions in some parts of the exhibition site, exhibitors whosevehicles exceed 3.8 meters in height (when moving) should consult with the Secretariatin advance.

(10) Exhibitors who use a delivery service to ship items to the exhibit hall must clearlyindicate address, show name, exhibition name, hall name, booth number, and exhibitorname on the package, and specify delivery date. Exhibitors must be present to receivethese shipments. Tokyo Big Sight will not be able to receive any deliveries of suchpackages prior to the dates for moving exhibits into the hall.

(11) The exhibitor is responsible for removing all debris and trash when moving theexhibit out. Please note that if any items are left behind, the organizer will dispose ofthem and the exhibitor will be billed for all costs incurred.

17. Space only exhibition and standard booth exhibition(1) Space only exhibition

1) A rectangular area for the exhibit is provided based on width X height. All items forexhibit must be set up by the exhibitor within the space provided.

2) As a rule, areas around the exhibitors' booths will be designated as aisles. So thatvisitors can move in any direction and exhibits in the hall are visible from alldirections, exhibitors are asked not to construct back or side walls. (With theexception of areas next to a wall of the exhibition hall.)

3) There are no height restrictions for standard booths regarding items exhibited,fixtures, displays, and signs, but if these items exceed three meters in height,depending on the construction plan, the exhibitor may be instructed to add smokedetectors, rescue equipment, and other fire prevention devices.

4) Exhibitors must submit to the Secretariat by July 31 the "Registration of constructionplan" (Form No. 7 for Submission). This must include a floor plan and three-dimensional drawing (two copies of each). The Secretariat may request exhibitors tomake changes in the content of these plans.

(2) Standard exhibition

1) Standard booth exhibition is divided from the surrounding by back panels and sidepanels as shown in the drawing below. The panels will be installed by the organizer.The size of the space will be 9 m2 (3 m wide X 3 m deep measured center to center)and the height of the panel will be 2.7 meters. No panels will be attached to spaces on

corners.

2) If several spaces will be grouped and used together, no side panel will be builtbetween spaces.

3) The organizer will attach a company name plate to each exhibit with the boothnumber and exhibitor name.

4) Back and side panels are made of plywood approximately 40 mm thick with thesurface finished in white. Nails can be driven into the plywood panels, but please becareful that the nails do no stick out the other side. Cutting or drilling holes is notpermitted. Exhibitors will be billed for any damaged panels.

5) The height of items exhibited, fixtures, displays, and signs for standard boothexhibition must be less than 2.7 meters from the floor.

18. Cautions regarding displays and construction(1) Exhibits and displays must be built in such a way so as not to inconvenience visitors or

other exhibitors.

(2) Exhibits or displays must not be placed that extend beyond the area of the exhibitor'sbooth.

(3) No facilities or signs may be placed in the aisles.

(4) The exhibitor has the responsibility to remove all debris that is created when buildingthe booth.

(5) For standard booths, as a rule, areas around the exhibitors' booths will be designated asaisles. So that visitors can move in any direction and exhibits in the hall are visible fromall directions, exhibitors are asked not to construct back or side walls. (With theexception of areas next to a wall of the exhibition hall.)

(6) Exhibitors must submit to the Secretariat by July 31 the "Registration of constructionplan" (Form No. 7 for Submission). This must include a floor plan and a three-dimensional drawing (two copies of each). The Secretariat may request exhibitors tomake changes in the content of these plans.

(7) Regarding height restrictions

1) There are no height restrictions for “floor space only exhibition” regarding itemsexhibited, fixtures, displays, and signs, but if these items exceed three meters inheight, depending on the construction plan, the exhibitor may be instructed to addsmoke detectors, rescue equipment, and other fire prevention devices.

2) For “standard booth exhibition”, the height of items exhibited, fixtures, displays,and signs in space only exhibits must be less than 2.7 meters from the floor.

(8) The following construction directly to the building itself is prohibited.

1) Driving nails or pins (For the use of anchor bolts refer to (15) Floor construction onthe next page.)

2) Digging, cutting, gas welding

3) Painting directly on walls or floors

4) Applying adhesives

5) Cutting with knives

6) Wrapping wires or ropes around pillars

7) Using hall facilities to support signs

8) Any other construction that might damage the exhibit hall facilities

(9) Exhibitors should refrain from using equipment or tools that generate sparks or flamesin construction. If such equipment must absolutely be used, the exhibitor must installfire extinguishers.

(10) Exhibitors must protect hall facilities if there is any concern that construction mightcause damages or stains. In particular, the floored must be cured with inflammablesheets or material when welding.

(11) Exhibitors shall be responsible for any damage to hall facilities, booths, exhibits, ordisplays regardless of the reason for such damage.

(12) Exhibited items and displays must be firmly attached so that they do not move orcollapse in case of an earthquake. Since the exhibitor may be asked to dismantle theexhibit if there are violations or inadequacies, construction plans should be madecarefully. If there are any questions, the construction plans should be submitted and theSecretariat consulted in advance.

(13) Do not cover fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, sprinklers, smoke detectors, emergencybells, or exit signs with exhibits, displays, or signs. Do not place fences, structures, orany other objects near such equipment that might be an obstruction when they need tobe used.

(14) Remodeling of displays or change of exhibits is not allowed during the show.

(15) Floor construction

1) Exhibitors who need to drive anchor bolts into the floor must submit "Applicationfor approval of floor construction" (Form No. 11 for Submission) to the Secretariatby August 20. Construction plans should accompany this application with anchorlocations circled in red.

2) Axle drive-in type anchor bolts of diameter16 mm or less (drilled hole of 17 mm or less)with a shield depth of 60 mm or less) maybe used. No female bolts may be used.

3) Anchor bolts should not be driven into pitsor pit covers. The location for anchor boltsmust be driven at least 200 mm away from apit.

4) After completion of the show, anchor boltsshould be cut and ground flush with thefloor with a sander. Do not hammer theminto the floor or cut them with a gas burner.

5) Floor restoration costs will be billed to exhibitors based on the number of anchor boltsdriven.

Floor restoration cost: 1000 yen per anchor bolt (plus consumption tax)

6) Exhibitors should notify the Secretariat on the day they construct the exhibit of anychanges in the locations or numbers of anchor bolts.

7) If anchor bolts are driven without submitting an application, or driven in areas wherethey are prohibited, the exhibitor will be billed floor restoration costs as well as thecost of repairing damages.

(16) Regulations concerning fireproofing of displays

The exhibition hall is governed by item 3 of Clause 8 of the Fire Prevention Law, whichstipulates some exhibit materials must be flame retardant. Exhibitors may be required toremove items that are not fireproof. The standards below must be carefully followed sincethe local fire department will conduct an inspection of the exhibit halls the day before orthe first day of the exhibit.

1) Materials with flame retardant properties should be used for plywood for theexhibits, supporting boards, curtains, or carpet.

2) Flame retardant labels should be attached to the above items where they can beclearly seen.

3) Wallpaper attached to flame retardant plywood should also be fireproof unless itcovers the entire board.

4) Nonflammable materials listed in 2-9 of the Construction Standards Act and seminonflammable materials listed in 1-5-6 of the enforcement regulations may be used tomeet the fireproof standards requirement.

5) Fireproofing of flammable materials is prohibited inside the exhibition hall.

6) Plywood regardless of thickness should be flame retardant boards which have beentreated by soaking. All boards must have a red "Flame Retardant" label designatedby law on the face of the board and five red lines on the back.

7) Use of plastic products such as Styrofoam, urethane, or acrylic is prohibited sincethey are difficult to prevent from igniting.

(17) As a general rule two-story structures are not allowed. Approval for a two-storystructure may be obtained only when safety and fire prevention measures have beensatisfactorily provided and the structure is confirmed to be safe. Exhibitors should checkwith the Secretariat when planning any two-story structures. Consultation with the localfire department may also be necessary.

(18) Restrictions on installing roof structures

1) In principle, building structures with roofs are prohibited since they obstructautomatic fire alarms, sprinklers, and exit signs. However, if shades, shields,soundproofing, insulation, dust proofing, or installation of lights or air conditionersare necessary due to the special character of the exhibit, exhibitors should takesuitable alternate measures. If safety standards are met, construction of suchstructures may be approved.

2) Items that may be exempted from the above restriction:

a) If the area of the roof is 50 m2 or less and the height is less than three meters, noapplication is required.

b) If the area of the roof is greater than 50 m2 and taller than three meters, priorconsultation is required.

In the case of b) above, construction must be approved by the Tokyo InternationalExhibition Center. Exhibitors may be required to install smoke detectors,sprinklers, or other additional fire prevention equipment.

(19) If an exhibitor violates the above regulations, and fails to follow orders given by theorganizer, the organizer is entitled to remove the offending exhibit or take othermeasures at the exhibitor's expense. In such cases, exhibitors have no right to object ormake any complaint against the organizer.

19. Bringing in hazardous materials(1) Clause 7 of the Tokyo Fire Prevention Law prohibits bringing hazardous substances into

the exhibition hall. This includes gasoline and other flammable liquids, volatile solids orliquids, or other hazardous substance listed in the attached fire prevention tables, andother combustible materials such as matches, gunpowder, and pressurized gas.

(2) Hazardous materials in airtight containers, fuels in vehicles, and lubricating oil inexhibited machinery are excluded from these restrictions if the quantities are kept to theabsolute minimum. However, application for permission is required.

(3) Restricted hazardous materials may be brought into the hall if conditions with respect tothe quantity, installation location, and safety measures are met, and the application isapproved by the local fire department.

(4) Exhibitors wishing to bring hazardous materials into the exhibition must submit the"Application for Permission to Bring in Hazardous Substances" (Form No. 9 forSubmission) and submit it to the Secretariat by July 31. If necessary you should includetwo copies of the hazardous substance catalog and two copies of a map of the exhibitbooth clearly indicating the location where the hazardous substances will be placed.

20. Restoration to original conditionIf construction or work by exhibitors has caused any damage to the exhibition facilities, thefacilities must be completely restored to their original condition no later than 15:00 onSeptember 23 (Sunday).If the organizer must restore an exhibit site because the work by the exhibitor wasinadequate or not completed by the deadline, expenses for such work shall be borne by theexhibitor.

21. Smoking restrictionsThe Tokyo Fire Prevention Law prohibits smoking in the exhibition hall during the show andwhile moving in or out. Therefore smoking is not permitted in the exhibit booths.Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas or lounges set up by the organizer.Exhibitors must be especially careful that their workers refrain from smoking while movingin or out to prevent fires or accidents.

22. ParkingExhibitors as a rule should plan on using the pay parking garages. As much as possibleplease try to make use of public transportation when coming to the exhibition site.

23. Payment of fees(1) Once the show has been completed, the Secretariat will bill exhibitors for various

expenses generated during the show, including electricity (electric line construction,electricity usage), telephone, and floor restoration costs (anchor bolts). Please remitpayment upon receipt of the bill.

(2) Exhibitors are responsible for all costs of moving in and out, displays, electric wiring intheir booths, curing, exhibits, demonstrations, dismantling, insurance, and anything elsecaused by their actions.

24. Miscellaneous(1) Balloons may not be handed out to visitors. Considerable time and trouble are required

to retrieve balloons that have been released by visitors. Moreover, the balloons mayaccidentally trigger a fire alarm.

2. Regarding the forms for submission (Guidelines forcompleting)

1. List of exhibits

This application form is used to grasp the items that will be exhibited as well as exhibitcategories, whether or not there are heavy exhibits and import items. Therefore, it mustbe submitted by June 15 (Fri).

(1)Enter the classification code from the List of Exhibit Codes in the table on page 31 foreach item to be exhibited (Example "A-1").

(2) In the "Total Weight" column, enter the weight of the items as they will be on exhibit.

(3) In the "Load Weight on Floor (exceeding 5 t/m2)" column, based on the Restriction onExhibit of Heavy Items (see page 7), enter the load weight per square meter only forthose items whose load on the floor exceeds 5 t/m2.

(4) In the Country of Origin column enter the country name only for imported items.

2. Application for invitations

The office of the Secretariat will produce invitations (pamphlets and envelopes).Exhibitors who would like some of these invitations should enter the quantity desiredand return the form by June 15 (Fri).(1)Envelope size is Long 3 (120 X 235 mm).

(2)The Secretariat will determine the quantity to be printed based on the number oforders received by the deadline. Please to not submit additional orders after thedeadline.

3. Application for electric wiring

Exhibitors wishing to be supplied with electric power for lighting fixtures or motorsmust submit this application by July 16 (Mon).(1)Ceiling illumination in the exhibition halls is greater than approximately 500 lux.

Take this into consideration when make construction plans for exhibits and fixtures.

(2)The minimum unit of power that may be requested is 0.5 kW. Enter the necessarypower capacity in units of 0.5 kW.

(3)When electric wiring is performed, the Secretariat will bill the exhibitor for thefollowing expenses after the show has concluded.

1) Electrical wiring --- 15,000 yen per kW

2) Electric power usage --- calculated based upon kW in application.

(4)The scope of electric wiring performed by the Secretariat shall only be up to theswitch placed in the exhibition booth. There should be no misunderstanding.Exhibitors shall be responsible for wiring from the switch within the booth.

This application is needed for confirming details of the construction plans, and foremergency nighttime contact for both the period of the show and when moving in orout. All exhibitors should fill in the name of the contractor who will be in charge of theinterior display of their exhibition booth and return it by July 16 (Monday).

5. List of bonded goods

This show has applied to serve as an exhibition venue for bonded goods. Foreign cargocan be displayed as bonded goods, as long as such foreign cargo is shipped outimmediately after the exhibition. 7. Registration of construction plans

8. Application for temporary telephone service

Exhibitors who want to have a telephone line installed in their exhibit booth during theshow should submit this form by July 31.(1)Telephone extensions installed in exhibition booths need to dial "0" to get an outside

line.

(2)When using a telephone line as an extension telephone, the telephone unit will beinstalled at the location designated.

10. Registration of the person in charge of the exhibit

This application is needed for emergency nighttime contact for both the period of theshow and when moving in or out. All exhibitors should fill in the name of the contractorwho will be in charge of the interior display of their exhibition booth and return it byAugust 20 (Monday).

11. Application for approval of floor construction

Exhibitors who need to drive anchor bolts into the floor must submit this form to theSecretariat by August 20 (Monday).(1) Indicate clearly the locations of anchor bolts in the exhibit booth by circling them in

red.

(2)When driving the bolts, all items in "Exhibition Regulation 18. Cautions regardingdisplays and construction (15) Floor construction" (Page 16) should be strictlyfollowed.
