The Port of Calais is therefore committed to a continuous improvement process in its routine activities and services as well as in its medium- and long-term projects. The certification, which integrates certain features of the ISO 14001 standard, is based on the principle of continuous improvement in the following areas: environmental policy, personnel management, training, communication, operational management, contingency planning, monitoring, tracking and recording of information, environmental audit and review.
