LEADING WOMENLeadership programme for women

on gender diversity in management

From research, it is clear that women face a number of disad-vantages in trying to reach senior executive positions. That is why CBS Executive offers a flagship programme custom-made for leading women. The programme is designed to assist and inspire women in leadership positions for greater success in current assign-ments and to manoeuvre their career in the desired direc-tion by addressing contemporary challenges women are facing when transitioning to a higher management level.

From a gender and leadership perspective, the programme focuses on identifying behavioural patterns and uncon-scious biases, which sometimes are powerful, yet invisible, barriers to women’s advancement. Focus will also be on the diversity and gender dynamics of groups with the purpose of teaching the participants to navigate in their organisa-tions/teams, thus enhancing their business influence. By integrating research with the participants’ personal ex-periences, they will obtain a nuanced understanding of the effect of gender biases in their organisations: How do these biases affect their development as leaders, and what can they do to work around them?

The second main theme of Leading Women is personal leadership. The participants will be encouraged to identify and connect with their higher leadership purpose, and they are offered a practical toolbox to strengthen their personal pre sence. In this connection, the programme seeks to strengthen the participants’ impact through verbal and non-verbal communication – as an easy way through their challenges as leaders.

LEADING WOMEN

Thank you for a great programme. Excellent faculty and CBS Executive crew. During the programme a trustful and balanced common platform was created – without any similarities to neither a feminist mani-festo nor a get-together for complaining individuals

“The course is incredibly inspiring and highly recom-mendable to all women! I entered an intensive learn-ing environment and left with invaluable knowledge about the “traps”, we all fall into – both men and women – and that are the barriers, we women face in our career development: unconscious biases on gender and leadership. The course also sharpened my awareness of my inner motivation, enhanced self-con-fidence and gave me a toolbox, which I still use today, 2 years after my participation.
