12th Sunday in Ordinary Time

We find Jesus in today’s Gospel taking the

question of who his disciples think he is and turning it around, tell us who we must be.

If we are to follow him, we must be willing to do as he did, that is, take up our cross each and every

day. As we reflect on these readings today, perhaps the question for us is how we lose our life

in order to save it.
