Teaching Accomplishments:

Piloted new research course (EDUC/COUN 6326), revised course, and rolled out course template for research program.

Developed new research course (EDUC/COUN 6327), piloted course, and revised course for 2015 roll-out.

Organized six library workshops and provided individual mentoring to students through Graduate Student Success Center (over 300 consultations in-person and online).

Mentored two students who presented research at the UST Research Symposium.

Mentored one student through publication process. Continued to receive high ratings on course evaluations. Participated in professional development to enhance technological aspects of

courses.

Scholarship Accomplishments:

Co-authored (with student) one article that was accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.

Collected and summarized Year 5 and Overall data for evaluator visit of Title V grant.

Wrote literature review for University’s Quality Enhancement Plan. Continued research on embedded librarian project and cross-cultural

examination of teachers’ personality and values. Submitted manuscript on expressive writing and forgiveness in veterans. Completed a program evaluation data analysis for the School of Nursing at

UST.

Service Accomplishments:

Conducted Research Program outcomes assessment. Oversaw and participated in essay review for School of Education

admissions process. Chaired Student Research and Travel fund sub-committee of the Committee

on Student Research (formerly Undergraduate Research Committee) – Spring, 2014.

Reviewed and processed over 300 applications for the Human Subjects Committee as a member and SOE sub-committee chair.

Re-elected to serve as the Faculty Senator for School of Education. Served as member of the Quality Enhancement Plan committee and the

Council for Institutional Effectiveness. Served as Freshman Symposium planning committee member. Initiated and chaired Faculty Senate Task Force on Parental Leave Policy. Continued work on the Faculty Senate Task Force on Teaching Evaluation. Continued work on the Faculty Senate Social Committee. Continued as the faculty advisor to Best Buddies.
