Selenium – Issues and Sources •  Selenium is one of the most regulated constituents in water sources at this time. The

ever tightening environmental regulations and the toxic bioaccumulation of selenium in aquatic species food chain reflect the complexity and importance of the need for more manageable and complete water treatment solutions

•  Sources of selenium include :

•  Refinery wastewater

•  Ash and landfill leachate

•  Flue gas desulfurization

•  Challenges with removing selenium are due to the variations of ionic or oxidative states, and the solubility or particulate form in which it presents in a given water matrix

•  You provide the water source, we analyze and treat per the species of selenium present, we remove all forms of selenium to your desired specified outcome rendering your water safe for re-use, recycling, or for safe environmental discharge
