Bao was created by Erchen, Wai Ting

& Shing in 2013. BAO started as a

market stall in a car park in East

London called Netil Market. Within of

six months of trading Bao won ‘Best

Street Food’ at the Young British

Foodies Awards.

After steaming buns for two years on

the streets, BAO opened its first

permanent restaurant in Soho in April

2015. BAO now has three restaurants,

one in Soho, one in Fitzrovia, and one in

Borough Market, (which has its own KTV

room!). You can still find us at Netil

Market where we first started, every

Saturday between 12pm - 4pm.

We still like to be on the road and can

offer catering for any location within the

M25. We can tailor the menu for all

occasions. Below is a few people we have

provided catering for over the years.

Catering in almost any venue or location inside or outside.

We will supply all catering equipment, chefs, do a half day

visit to your location prior to the event taking place.

We do not require an onsite kitchen.

Waiting staff (at an additional cost)

Power / Access to running water / 2x2m cooking and serving

space / parking space at the venue / 2 hours set up time
