the work is constructed on a backing perspex 100 x 150 cm x 10 mm thickthe Boards are - cut pieces of Stand Up Paddle Boards + Paddle

all art work was carried out in the spray booth at Studio@Vantage by artist - Wyn Vogel

‘The Making of Soup’

Image left shows the work sitting in the spray booth minus the hibiscus and final spray details.To get to this stage the boards and the backing perspex have been coated with

many layers of spray paint using commericial spray cans only.

The technique in this Installation utilised enamal spray paint -face masks and many hand cut stencils -

and on the morning of installation - cut the critical slotsto mount the boards for me - thanks Simon!!
