An eclectic collection of handmade greeting cards

The year 2015 starts our 18th year of producing our unique, surprisingly affordable, handmade greeting

cards. We’ve come a long way from those first years of hand cutting each design to utilizing the technology of

the computer and what we consider the “magic” of the laser machine while maintaining the handmade nature of

the original cards.

Through the years not only have our designs become more intricate, but the art itself evolved with the

introduction of the sophisticated Moon Series. Then the Landscape Series took the art one step further.

Instead of handmade paper to showcase our images, we have created a watercolor landscape for the

background. Images are then hand applied to the landscape creating a truly special collage. “Thoughtful

Quotations,” is a series that is unique and captivating with thoughtful and sometimes whimsical quotations.

All designs are cut from reproductions of our original abstract watercolor paintings. The images of the original

series of cards are hand placed on environmentally friendly handmade papers from around the world and

many images are further enhanced after placement. We chose a fine grade of recycled paper for the card

stock. Each card is protected by a clear sleeve. Greetings can be added to the front of the card at no

additional charge. In 2008 we purchased Purple Moon Studio, vintage kimono cards with Kanji symbols or quotations. We’ve

expanded the line and believe it compliments our original Blue Turtle Studio. These cards, too, are protected by a

clear sleeve.

We are humbled that so many of our original customers are still purchasing our greeting cards, and, in

addition, are thankful for each new company that adds our line. We especially appreciate our customers

who support handmade products that are made in the U.S.A. A special thanks also goes to our indepen-

dent sales representatives, with whom this company would not be in existence without their hard work.
