VERBAL ABILITY1. Norman Lewis word power made easy.2. Novels of reputed authors/economists
/Editorials.3. Grammar: Basics to some grammar rules are necessary.
There are some questions in verbal ability which requires clarity of grammar rules. You must be able to understand the rules.
4. Vocabulary is not an important element of CAT. But if you are from a vernacular medium then you should focus on vocabulary.
Quantitative Aptitude1. Tables from 1 to 252. Squares from 1 to 1003. Cubes from 1 to 254. Ratios & Percentages from 1 to 205. Vedic Maths helps you in Calculating sums and

6. Focus on the chapters in which you have difficulty and solve number of questions of it.
LOGICAL REASONING1. To start with Logical reasoning go to previous CAT
papers and start solving them.2. You should solve them regularly to get a good grips as
ample practice should be there.3. Solve at least 10 sets of logical reasoning everyday
before one month of your CAT exam.4. To increase on your logical skills solve crosswords,
puzzles , sudoku, etc.
DATA INTERPRETATION1. The first area to work upon DI is directions.2. Study the graph/tables/pie charts thoroughly.3. Never ignore the units in the table (in millions, in
thousands etc.) 4. Practice 1 set of DI daily to increase the speed of solving
questions in less number of time.5. To save time in DI squares, ratios, percentages, cubes,
tables must be well known because these things helps a lot while solving Data Interpretation.
