LYTTONSVILLE STATION • The Lyttonsville Station is an opportunity for
wayfinding, placemaking, and storytelling. The purpose of this artwork is to commemorate and celebrate the historic Talbot Avenue Bridge and the importance of the bridge historically to the community. The artwork presents the opportunity for placemaking and a lively hub for community interaction and development.

LYTTONSVILLE STATION• This art will be located on the stairway wall surrounding the Lyttonsville
Station. The mural image is a mixed media concept representation of the Lyttonsville historical community. The design will evoke cultural affirmation of a solid African American community and be 100 feet in length.

16TH STREET-WOODSIDE STATION• The theme of this artwork is “Passage at Woodside Station”. It is a pair of funnel-
like structures at opposite entrances of the north platform which will help serve as a unique wayfinding for the station and future development that is planned. The frame is made of brushed stainless steel with a polished stainless steel railing. The structures will appear to reach out as if to both receive and move with each passing train.
