American Curl!

Pinnas curled caudally; medium to long coat, any color, any eye color

American Shorthair!Short body, rounded head, round to almond eyes, short coat, any color or combination of coat and eye color

American Wirehair!

Same body type and colors as Shorthair, but wiry hair type

Balinese!

Triangular head, blue eyes, long, flat nose, shaded face and sometimes feet, body hair shorter than tail hair, long lean body type

Birman!

Round head and colored points with white feet, short, rounded body type, medium body hair, longer tail hair, blue eyes

British Shorthair!

Very short, thick coat, hairs stand almost on end (“plush”), any coat color; round head and eyes, any eye color except blue.

Burmese!

Short coat, colored points, triangular head, round eyes, any color but blue. Compact body

Cornish Rex!

Long and lanky, huge ears; triangular face, round eyes of any color but blue. Rex coat type: thin, very short, kinky hairs, any coat color

Devon Rex!

Less extreme than Cornish Rex: Less lanky body, coat is short with rex hairs mixed in among normal hairs. Triangular head, large ears, round eyes of any color

Exotic!

Essentially a short-haired Persian: Brachycephalic with very round head and eyes, any eye color but blue. Coat very short and plush, any color.

Havana Brown!

Long lean body type, triangular head, large ears. Always short, dark brown coat with no markings and green eyes.

KoratAverage body type, eyes amber to green. Coat is short, dark grey at the root with silver tips.

Maine Coon Cat

Manx

Norwegian Forest CatSmaller than Maine Coon cat but similar coat. Average body type, green eyes with amber bands. Coat long with longer mane and tail, long curving ear hairs and tufts, any color except colorpoint.

OrientalShort, close coat, large flaring ears, tall slender legs, long whippy tail. Eyes any color, round shape. More lanky and larger ears than ocicat.

OcicatAgouti spotted coat (colors above), very short and silky, eyes any color. Less lanky and smaller ears than Oriental.

PersianShort muscular body, extremely brachycephalic. Long, thick coat, any color. Eyes large and round, any color

RagdollVery large-framed cats with extremely laid-back temperment. Semi-long coat, colorpoint with white accents, blue eyes, round head and eyes.

Russian BlueTriangular head, wideset ears. Short, plush, silky coat, always “blue” in color with bright emerald green eyes.

Scottish FoldEars fold rostrally (natural mutation); also may have straight ears. Short dense coat, any color, round eyes of any color.

SiameseLong, lanky and loud! Short coat, solid colored points, blue eyes. Head very triangular with large ears.

Singapura

Somali“Little Fox”; essentially a longhaired Abbysinian: Medium coat, longhaired tail, agouti ticking on hairs, triangular head, eyes any color but blue.

SphynxHairless or slight amount of “peach fuzz”, any color (skin is patterened), eyes any color. Originated in Canada!

TonkineseSmall cat, stocky to average body type. Short coat with colored points, eye color varies with coat color (not always blue!)

Turkish AngoraMedium long coat, very silky, any color except colorpoint. Prominent tufts on ear tips, almond eyes of any color.

Turkish VanWhite with colored head and tail (“Piebald”), semi-long coat without undercoat. Eyes any color but blue. These cats are reputed to love the water!
