Actor ProfileName: Erin ClarkeRole: Main character (Mel)Reasons for Casting: Erin is someone who has an inoscent and normal look about her. She looks like the typical teenage girl and would therefore be able to connect to the audience well. Due to Erin playing the lead role in the trailer, it is important the audience can create an emotional connection with her so that they can experience the journey along with the main character. I feel that Erin will play the main character well and the audience will be able to connect to her.

Although people wouldn’t be able to recognise him on the streets, he is famous for being one of Europe's most notorious serial killers. One person does however know who he is but his plan is to not let her be living long enough to tell anyone else.

Actor ProfileName: Joe BarlowRole: MurdererReasons for Casting: Joe has a striking and serious face which will be needed for his role of the killer. In the trailer, only the lower half of his face will be shown therefore he needs to be able to convey the characters sinister personality well.Joe has quite a mysterious look about him which works well for this role.For this part, Joe will grow his beard out a bit to make him look more disheveled.

Actor ProfileName: Ben HandleyRole: VictimReasons for Casting: Ben has quite an innocent face which will be needed as he is only briefly shown in the trailer and therefore the audience will need to instantly connect with him and what is happening. Ben is a good actor and will therefore play the small part well and convincingly.
