INSTALLATION METHOD

FABRICATION Made from 90% recycled quarried stone

LAYOUT When installing tiles, make sure that you choose pieces from different boxes in order to avoid repeating patterns. Tiles come with staggered rows which are designed to create a continuous pattern.

ADHESIVES Use Mapei Kerabond (or equivalents having the same physical properties) which is a premium grade dry-set mortar for use in most interior, exterior residential and light commercial wall applications.

INSTALLING The adhesive should be applied both to the back surface of the tile, and the surface to which you are applying the tile to. Use a No. 5/6 notched trowel for mortar application. Excessive adhesive should be removed using a dry sponge. Follow additional adhesive manufacturer’s directions.

GROUTING Grouting is recommended for exterior applications using Mapei Mape-Antique (or equivalents having the same physical properties) which is a hydraulic binder. Follow manufacturers application directions. If grouting for interior applications is specified, use Mapei-Mape Kera (or equivalents having the same physical properties), also follow manufacturer’s directions. Any excess grout on the stones can be easily removed using a brush or a specific ceramic cleaning product. After a 24-hour period any further residue should be washed off using a common domestic acid diluted with water in a 1:1 proportion.

MAINTENANCE & WARRANTYCast Stone Collection is “maintenance-free” and can be cleaned using common domestic acid products. Products have been tested and certified by registered certified institutes following national and international requirements. Products are guaranteed to be frost proof as well as resistant to fire, domestic agents and swimming pool additives.
